This is a cosy traditionally Spanish hotel with a warm cosy atmosphere. Everything is spotlessly clean, staff are friendly, the pool is great as is the breakfast. Will not hesitate to return.

Perfect location by the sea. The bed is very hard and missing a top madress. The cleaning was good in the room but please use cleaning soap without so much smell due allergy. The reception staff was sitting and looking the computer screen. Morning chef did not say hello. Big greetings to the morning Waiter, she was smiling and very friendly always. No Wine glas in the room, neither at reception to borrow. The Walls are like paper and you Can hear your neighbour. Good transport service to airport. 22 e. Pool clean. Not 4 star comfort, more like 3. But we enjoyed our 4 days.

Hotel que fico todos os anos para o evento de kizomba, afro festival, e que eu e meus amigos ficamos nesse hotel precisamente por ser ao lado do hotel do evento, o Ms Amaragua, e ter passagem direta por uma porta de um hotel para o outro, mas que este ano fecharam esse acesso durante a noite a quem ficou no hotel, o que foi muito desagradável e deixou as pessoas que ficaram nesse hotel muito chateadas. Acho que não se faz. Assim perde o interesse se ficar nesse hotel em eventos futuros.

Pool nice and quiet and relaxing. But hotel needs a major renovation compared to the sister hotel next-door. My room had a lot of wasted space and the bathroom was so condensed. Staff very friendly and nice.

A destacar la ubicación en pleno paseo marítimo, motivo por el cual deberían cuidar un poco más las instalaciones que a pesar de conservar antigüedades que me encantan, en ciertos aspectos y servicios se han quedado muy obsoletos. El personal de cocina y comedor en general bastante simpáticos y atentos, de recepción no puedo decir lo mismo. La limpieza deja mucho que desear, a habido días que a las 14:00 horas seguía la habitación sin hacer, no digo que hagan limpieza a fondo, pero por el precio que se paga tendrían que esmerarse un poquito más, he pasado cinco días y desde el primero ha estado una patata debajo de las camas.... El desayuno está bastante bien, y la cena que es en el hotel amaragua genial, la diferencia de un hotel a otro es bastante notable. La piscina es bastante tranquila, pero suele estar sucia y poco cuidada, es casi imposible encontrar hamaca libre porque la gente planta la toalla temprano y se va, cosa que no está permitida pero tampoco controlada, eso sin contar que la mitad de los que disfrutan de la piscina no son clientes del hotel, ya que la seguridad es totalmente pésima,las puertas de entrada están todo el día abiertas, no hay ningún tipo de control de las personas externas que entran en el recinto, lo que confiere muy poca seguridad en general, y más si vas con niños pequeños. Mi opinión es que podían mejorar bastante, porque en relación calidad precio van muy raspados y se salva algo más gracias al hotel amaragua.

I was a bit concerned about the hotel having read previous feedback. However I found the hotel location was excellent and although the building was a bit dated I found the staff to be very helpful, the room was clean and specious, the breakfast was very good and our evening meals where excellent. I will definitely be back and would recommend it to friends and family.

Booked the day before arrival. On fourth floor with great sea view . Breakfast fantastic. Staff friendly and they booked our taxi in early hours when we left

The hotel is dated

Nice hotel, near the beach. Hotel room not optional with a door between another room so you can hear the other quests in that room talking. I wanted the hotel room in a quiet are since my sister has problem with noisy places, but that was not noticed although I wrote to the hotel before arriving.

Only decaf coffee in the restaurant. 2 days in a row. Rude staff in restaurant . Room flooded with ants. Had to wash out bag due to ants. Charge to use the room safe. Avoid. Room 410.

Stayed for 2 nights,felt very relaxed at the hotel especially with a bright and cheerful reception from the lady on the desk as we checked in.Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold foods.I ate the typical English breakfast,cereal,toast,eggs,bacon etc.My wife chose smoked salmon with a variety of cheeses and quality fruit,all food was replenished when needed.We ate in a part of the restaurant which I believe some guests were not aware of,a glass fronted dining room overlooking the sea with beautiful views of the sunrise,absolutely brilliant! Our room was spacious,clean,great bathroom and balcony,huge TV with a massive selection of UK channels.The hotel is a good example of a 4 star.We could have used the spa but chose to spend our stay enjoying the autumn sun. The only negative was the evening meal served in the sister hotel the 4 star MS Amaragua.Incredibly opulent entrance and reception area gave us high expectations,escalator into the restaurant showing a bright and roomy area.The starter,huge mixed salad was great,it was 4 star.The main course was where it fell apart,many options were missing from the servery with little effort to replenish.Worse was all the hot food was at best luke warm.A low 3 star for this course.Dessert was abysmal,all the items ended up in a small heap on 1 small chilled section,ice cream and a tiny selection of chilled cake,no creams,all the fresh fruit had gone,we were not late diners! Stay here again,YES,but forget the evening meal!

Hotel muy bonito pero un tanto antiguo tanto de aspecto como de mobiliario, el colchón fatal para un buen descanso... La limpieza regulera... Lo mejor que tiene que puedes acceder a las instalaciones del Amaragua y el personal de recepción amables. Aunque en el spa en mi opinión deberían de estar un poco más pendientes y dar vueltecitas de vez en cuando, te resbalas y allí no aparece ni dios, un niño jugando a la pelota con su madre en la piscina y las chavalas ni se coscaron. Pero esta en un sitio espectacular... Volvería, porque todas esas cositas se pueden solucionar.

We stayed in the MS TROPICANNA - nice staff, clean but room very dated and no coffee making facilities. Room in my opinion let the rest of the hotel down as everything else was really lovely. We had the option to use the hotel facilities connected next door which were excellent, so our stay was really nice. Excellent food and lovely staff. Just the room needs updating
