Alle medarbejderne var søde og hjælpsomme. Vi havde problemer med lugt af cigaretrøg på etagen, og så virkede deres “smart” opkobling til fjernsyn og fitness ikke. Pool området blev brugt til at holde sammenkomster så man havde ikke lyst til at bruge den desværre.

Gloriously different! Every minute detail had been thought of - the decor, the tea mugs, the magnifying mirrors - I could go on...! The rooms are a little small, but the location is slap bang in the middle of the action. The staff were also wonderful - thankyou Jorge for excellent restaurant recommendations :-)

Very lovely hotel and staff. We were able to get an early check in and since our ferry out was so late, they accommodated for a late check out as well. Great location in Valencia, very walkable to many sites, bars, and restaurants.

Staff were amazing. So helpful and kind. Hotel was spotless, breakfast delicious, perfect location and quiet at night. Can not recommend highly enough. We were truely sad to leave!

Have been to Valencia many times, this was the best hotel by far. Giulio at front desk is the best.

The hotel has surpassed our expectations by all means. Beautifully restored historic building with wonderful details. Our room was so comfortable, clean, and nicey decorated. It is a terrific neighborhood, very central on a quiet street. There are various cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area. The hotel staff was excellent too. Given the quality of hotel and its surrounding, it felt like a bargain! Highly recommended.

The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Valencia. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the rooms are very comfortable. The hotel staff are very friendly and try to be as helpful as possible. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here if you are visiting Valencia.

Sehr schönes Hotel, aber recht teuer. Daher auch die sehr kritische Bewertung. Balkon nicht begehbar. Zimmer sehr klein. Bad super aber keine WC-Bürste. Straße sehr laut, wenn Fenster geschlossen nicht zu hören. Im ganzen Haus ein recht intensiver künstlicher Geruch (ähnlich Räucherstäbchen). Sehr wenig deutsche TV-Programme. Frühstück super, Brot mäßig, Kaffee und Tee schmeckt sehr stark nach Chlor.

This is a Marriott hotel and the first one we stayed in during our Spain visit. This was an expensive hotel but we still had to pay for everything - using the bikes, breakfast (which was just ok and expensive), water in the room (if you ran out of the small ones they gave you). Compared to the other properties we stayed at all of these things were free. I would probably not stay in a Marriott again in Europe if I have different options. Also we got a bottle of cava in all of the other hotels we booked through Expedia (even though we didn’t drink it) except for this hotel. The bedding was the best at this hotel. Also the room was loud. We were in a room under the rooftop terrace and we could hear furniture being moved around at all times of the day. We requested and paid more for a city view room and there was no city view in any of the rooms. The first room offered was on the first floor and faced out to the trash can s and bus lanes. So we ended up with an interior facing room which was quiet and much better. The room was nice. Overall a very average experience and not comparable to the other Spainish hotels we stayed in. Marriott needs to look at their competition!

We loved staying here. Beautiful hotel with a nice little roof terrace with a pool. The staff were so lovely and helpful too helping with bike rental and restaurant recommendations. Really well located within walking distance to all the main sightseeing points in the historic centre and near to the metro line too to getting to and from the airport. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, die Zimmer jedoch klein und verstaubt wirkend. Frühstück gabs in der Lobby, na ja. Alles in allem den Preis nicht wert.

4th – 7th August 2023 I am going to put down random thoughts / comments as they spring up: - refreshing ice-cold water served upon arrival, and that was really a great 1st impression when it was 35C on the afternoon we arrived - Friendly smiling male staff immediately stepped out to greet when we alighted the taxi ( flat rate Euro30 ) - We were in Room 409, rather smallish yet pleasant, quiet, clean and fresh-smelling - A cosy boutique hotel with a small restaurant and a bar on the G/F before reaching the lifts - Shower not at all powerful but good that shower cubicle was not leaking; drainage smooth but the metal plate is situated right in the middle of the cubicle floor so always stepping on it and the feeling is not hygienic enough - Shampoo body wash conditioner in commercial bottles secured on the wall - Jacuzzi in the tub; tub has ½ glass shield and with rain shower head - Rain shower normal handheld shower in shower cubicle too - Phone ( call #9 to front desk ) not working so we had to physically go down whenever we wanted to speak with the staff - TV in room not working. Informed front desk on day 2 and then we were told the hotel was undergoing system upgrade, a thing nobody had alerted us when we checked in. As a result, we had complimentary breakfast as compensation the next day. Breakfast was typical of what is usually served in hotels , with eggs made to order

From check in to check out our stay here was marvellous. The room decor is chic and considered, comfortable and stylish and the lobby is the same. Room a little smaller than ideal but has everything you need and plenty of natural light, cleaned to a high standard each day and top marks on the products/ eco friendly toiletries. The staff were fantastic and the food and drink was good. If you’re looking to sunbathe it’s annoying that they only have four loungers and the pool is small but does the job. There was a huge number of Americans taking ‘masters of the universe’ style business calls on the rooftop throughout our stay, as if that was an acceptable thing to do, but the Agua di Valencia’s are a great aid in tuning those out.
