Phenomenal, of course. Super relaxing, gorgeous ambience, an absolute treat. We ate twice in the cafeteria which was really good. Would have liked to stay a week but we'd be way beyond our budget.

El personal muy amable y dispuesto a cualquier consulta, petición, etc. El parador fantástico, un entorno precioso, lleno de historia. La habitación espaciosa, limpia, perfecta.

lovely location.. good varied spanish breakfast comfortable beds and pillows.. nice quiet.. lots of history and interesting building and castle nice views at the top, nice big rooms. just be wary its a hike up to the top of the hill when walking!

Zimmer war im rustikalem Stihl aber passend zu der Lokation, allerdings ist das Bad in die Jahre gekommen und könnte aufgewertet werden. Der Innenhof ist sehr schön und man kann da sehr gut Kleinigkeiten essen oder nur trinken super Ambiente. Das Restaurant sieht super aus wie im Mittelalter aber das Menu ist schwach von der Auswahl, uns hat es nicht zu gesagt. Alles in allem ein ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Hace unos cuantos años ya dormimos en el Parador, nos gusto mucho y por esto hemos repetido otra vez.

Très bonne nuit au château , cadre magnifique comme toujours dans les paradores. Personnel discret et efficace , chambres cossues , literie parfaite. L’épaisseur de la moquette dans l’escalier donnait envie de marcher pieds nus .

Room was ok, floor was a bit grubby. Its a stunning looking building. High up overlooking Alcaniz. Bar is beautiful. Its a bit of a steep walk down & back to the town. We stayed on a Saturday night & the bars were buzzing. Plenty of dining options.

Stay here if you can. These are very historic spots and you will not be disappointed. Great staff and great location in a really cool town.

What a fantastic experience….. an amazing parador hotel, perched on top of a hill. Fabulous local cuisine and wines.

This is not about the Hotel, I ended up booking direct through the Hotel its self. I booked & paid for this hotel through Hotels.com, within minuetes of booking & paying I realised I’d booked the wrong dates, so I tried straight away to swap the dates on Hotels.com & the system wouldn’t allow me to do that, so I contacted customer services & was told I couldn’t change or cancel my booking as they had contacted the hotel & the hotel had refused my request to change cancel. I wrote to the hotel that told me I could cancel but I would have to do it through Hotel.com . My point is that I feel I was misinformed by Hotel.com and that I should have received a refund !!

Beautiful place. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good.

Edificio y emplazamiento muy bonito

Nice place but a bit old. The room was not vacuum and we found long hair on the floor and in corners. The castle could be visited only with a guided tour company. On the other hand we recharged our electric car onsite.

We really loved this property. Paradores offer great value for money and some unique locations, the parador at Alcañiz is a particularly beautiful castle. Great bar for snacks and light meals. We didn't try the formal restaurant. Easy outdoor parking, short walk into town down steep drive.

The Parador is a really beautiful place to stay. The views are stunning and the interior spaces tastefully designed and decorated. Staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. The excellent breakfast included a well-stocked buffet and a la carte table service. The only criticisms I have are of the very firm beds and mediochre bar meals.
