The breakfast room was too small and the outdoor terrace was too full to use.

Wonderful hotel, great location and very friendly staff. Responsive to emails before our stay. Warm welcome from Gabriel. We arrived a little early and our rooms were ready - no problem checking in early as a result and no charge. Rooms are lovely, well cleaned every day and one day we accidentally left do not disturb on when we went out for the day… when we came back we asked for some bottled water and when we came back again after dinner they’d given it a clean anyway! We did try the breakfast buffet one day and I’m sorry to say that was the one bit that let it down… it wasn’t worth the cost as the hot option was very limited. There’s a lovely coffee shop round the corner - Wyndhams - which is open early and does simple breakfast, pastries and good coffee. Downstairs pool is freezing - probably lovely in the height of summer but too cold in April. Rooftop pool was warm while we were there - it’s solar heated - and has great views, and a nice bar with poolside service. Pool is open 9-7 and children are allowed in it at any time of day.

Location and services are great! We spent 5 wonderful days in Barcelona, our first time visit, and I am glad we choose to stay at Sofitel hotel where the staff members were very knowledgeable and pleasant. The hotel rooms were clean, the bar/ restaurant pricey but the food was delicious!

The breakfast buffet was wonderful with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Family friendly. Lovely rooftop pool with amazing views, brilliant staff, all attentive and caring and go out of their way to make your stay happy. Id definitely go back. The beach is just behind the hotel. Clean rooms with comfy beds. I can't fault this hotel at all.

We had 3 nights and loved our room the staff was helpful friendly and kind we will recommend this hotel to friends & family! Thank you!

Very good and upscale

En Sofitel Barcelona, la excelencia se siente: personal impecable y una cocina simplemente deliciosa.

Sauberes Zimmer, kein schöner Ausblick. Hochhaus, Halle direkt davor. 4. Stock zu niedrig um drüber hinweg zu sehen. Sehr hellhörig, nachts laut, Straßenverkehr stark zu hören da es hallt. Pool am Dach war zwar offen aber alles noch eingewintert - wurde erst für einen Geschäfts Empfang hergerichtet. Unangenehm wenn man an diesem Tag den Pool genutzt hat. Insgesamt sehr teuer für die tatsächliche Leistung. Bilder sind nicht mit der tatsächlichen Unterkunft übereinstimmend. Lage ist leider nicht gut. Baustellen, Hauptstraßen, keine guten Restaurants (nur teuer und Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig).

5star standard, strongly recommended. Check in is smooth, bed is comfortable, service is amazing, food is delicious, staff are so nice! Maybe more variety can be added to breakfast. We stayed 3 nights and had a good time there. Will return when I come back to Barcelona!

Once again, Sofitel staff made our stay extraordinary! Julia in reception welcomed us with a wonderful chocolate gift and then surprised me before our departure with champagne and a cake complete with a candle to celebrate my birthday a day early. The team greeted us each time we were in the lobby like we were old friends. The only drawback to our stay was the television programming. Only a few channels in English and all were news channels. It would have been appreciated if there was a better variety including a few movie channels to escape from today’s unfortunate news cycle.
