Lovely hotel in a great position great room, warm welcome on arrival. The stay was let down by the food both in the evening and breakfast which was poor. Also there was no hot water in the morning when we informed a staff member he said that the gas had run out during the night and needed changing It's such a a shame that the hotel was let down as the potential is amazing

Relativamente agradável no geral. Mas o jantar tinha muito pouca qualidade, em especial o bife que era praticamente só gordura. Vinho também com pouca qualidade. Não aconselho jantar. O pequeno almoço apenas razoável. Não vou repetir.

Superb service from beginning to end. Really nice and busy bar. Very reasonably priced dinner, excellent food. Outstanding breakfast. Strong WiFi though you had to change server depending on where you were. Interesting village with architectural highlights.

Comfortable bed. Nicely decorated and good size bedroom. Large bathroom with separate spa shower, jacuzzi bath, 2 sinks and the toilet. Friendly staff. The only downside is that we could not work out the spa shower (no instructions) so we had a shower in the bath (jacuzzi bath).

Maravilhoso. Farei deste Hotel um ponto de parada nas minhas próximas viagens de negócios. Restaurante com comida excelente. Quarto confortável, casa de banho muito limpa.

Een bijzonder mooi hotel met veel sfeer, goed menu voor prima prijs. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Si vous voulez être au calme c'est parfait, pour le chauffage, on chauffe que la nuit, le soir il fait trop froid pour se coucher et pendant la nuit il.il fait trop chaud, pour le petit déjeuner pas de chauffage dans la salle de restaurant, petit déjeuner servi à partir de 8h30 c'est trop tard.

The exterior of the hotel is very nice, room was clean and nice but beds were old and bad (single beds apart in a double room). Breakfast was spanish and very simple. We had dinner in the evening. Quite bad, as a starter I had ”Macaroni carbonara”, the macaronies were swimming in a cream sauce and when you were lucky you could find some pieces of “bacon”, as main dish I was promised racks of lamb but got a fat lamb chop (dish was discussed upfront and shown and verified by pictures).

Although hotel was good internet was slow and did not work well with two phones and a computer

An ideal stop off point on the drive from northern Spain back to Lisbon. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great value set menu in the restaurant, along with a hearty breakfast, and really excellent to have access to the bar/cafe during the day. We stayed in the suite, which had two skylight windows, and was very atmospheric in the evening.

Very friendly place, good food

The hotel was used as a stop over from Portimao to Santander. The hotel is small but very unique. It was probably an old mill converted 10 years ago. Only criticism is their website needs to be updated for the cost of evening meals. But the food was good.

Ik ben op de heen - en terugreis naar Portugal (Porto) hier geweest. Ligt prima om de laatste dag niet ver te hoeven reizen. Vriendelijk ontvangen beide keren. Fijn dat je ook in het hotel kan eten. Prima ontbijt!

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Krweg een fijne éénpersoonskamer, een unicum!
