WITTMORE HOTEL

２泊しましたが、大変優雅で、雰囲気のあるホテルでした。 部屋は大人専用らしく暗いのですが、ベッドも家具も高級で、家のインテリアをこんな風にしたいといろいろ学べました。 朝食は豪華で味はおいしい。ただしスペインのオムレツは堅めなので、エッグベネディクトがおすすめです。 難点は路地が細くて、タクシーの運転手が通り名すら知らないこと。行く前にホテルにメールして、タクシーの運転手への伝達方法を聞いておくといいと思います

Fahad the front desk person went over and above to help out when our room ac was not functioning. They ensured they got it fixed by night and the front desk people were apologetic the next day. The rooms are really nice. It’s a boutique luxury hotel so not bad for that

5th stay at The Wittmore, great stay as always!

Outstanding central hotel with the kindest most helpful staff. Rooms are a bit dark but have everything you need in them.

Super cute boutique hotel in the Gothic Quarter. Rooms and hotel are tastefully decorated, the bar is well stocked and cozy, and breakfast was wonderful. Very much appreciate the adult-only experience, as it makes breakfast a lot more peaceful. Staff was also great. Very highly recommended.

Had a fantastic stay!

What a surprise to see a supposedly 5 star hotel present as a low 3 star facility. Tiny room, no place for a second suitcase, a light switch that turned off all power, so phone charging didn't happen only to be discovered in the morning! Breakfast had only 2 choices to select from and a hearty muesli with nuts was not one of them. At check out we had requested a taxi in advance but the driver got lost since street access is almost impossible!!! The porter was nowhere to be found - a truly sad story. Avoid this place!

Staff was great and loved our overall stay!

We really liked everything about this hotel EXCEPT one item - the room was far too dark. The staff acknowledged that many guests comment on this as being a problem. It was difficult for my wife to get ready, do her makeup, etc. because of how little lighting there was. The hotel IS in the Gothic Quarter and perhaps that's the vibe they are going to, but I thought people should know.

Great location; professional staff.

A great lil hideaway in the edge of the pedestrian part of Barcelona. Staff was great & very helpful. Restaurant in the courtyard is a quiet refuge.

Lovely location with very accommodating staff. Rooms tasteful and lovely mini bar .. late breakfast options for those wanting a lie in. Best thing for us was the staff

We absolutely loved this hotel. It’s in a great location, tucked away down a small side street in the Gothic quarter. Staff were fantastic, small gestures like the free mini bar, popcorn dropped off at your room in the afternoon and welcome drink at check were all such lovely gestures. Very comfortable rooms and quiet. The hotel is trendy and has no photos rule which is superb. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. We will definitely return.

What an amazing hotel and location, The staff were so accommodating. My wife, unfortunately, has celiacs and is surgical to garlic, onions, and shellfish. They made sure that everything that they prepared was done exactly the way she needs it. We are so appreciative and cannot thank them enough for the way we were treated. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Friendly staff, in Gothic Old Town, lovely amenities

We enjoyed our stay at the Wittmore Hotel. The staff was amazing and verry helpful. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed drinks and dinner at lobby restaurant. The hotel is located in the Gothic Quarter with short walks to shopping, restaurants and Roman Ruins. A very scenic area.

I could gush about this property all day. Truly one of the most amazing places we’ve stayed (and I’ll admit, we have very high expectations). I largely want to keep this our own little secret because I don’t want it to get too big and lose its charm. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing service thanks

Overall, this is a great option if you want to stay in the city center. However, the condition of the rooms and the overall feel of the hotel don’t really match a true 5-star standard. That said, the service is excellent and the staff were very helpful. One thing I found quite strange for a 5-star hotel is that there were no slippers in the room. Also, the toiletries shown in the hotel photos did not match what was actually provided. In general, it was still a good stay, but expectations should be adjusted if you’re booking it as a luxury 5-star experience.
