アヴェンラ ビーチ ホテル

子連れでのサーフトリップです。 こどもがいるのでプールが大きいホテルということで選びました。1番大きいプールがあるホテルはサーフポイントから離れているかなという理由で除外。 スタッフはフロント以外は総じて良い。 朝食は毎朝同じメニュー、品数少なめ。 部屋は経年劣化しているが掃除が丁寧にされたので及第点。

Ok place for families. Kind of boring. A little worn and used.... Food is ok, nothing more. Perfect location on the beach!

Staff were friendly, room felt like it had seen better days, cupboards broken shower head rusty. Feel like rooms need a re-vamp. Breakfast felt like a perculiar system, not very clear what we were allowed to have and we weren’t told where to go get drinks etc. Pool area was nice and beach is lovely.

Værelserne var faktisk rigtig gode, sengen lidt hård - men sådan er det de fleste steder. Personalet er søde men slet ikke optimal, største delen forstod ikke engelsk. I resturanten skal du nogle gange vente for evigt, hvis du ikke selv siger at du vil have et menukort/bestille eller betale. Desuden fik min kæreste madforgiftning af deres burger - øv.

Mycket bra läge vid finaste delen av stranden i Hikkaduwa. Nära till många bra restauranger på stranden. Pool väldigt fin och fräsch. Hotellet är gammalt men sängen fräsch. Personalen helt ok.

Hotel in posizione perfetta, sulla spiaggia. Free WiFi, cibo eccellente e colazione buona. Da migliorare le docce nelle camere e qualche ombrellone in più da mettere nel giardinetto dell’hotel.

Bra hotell om man åker för en resa med avkoppling. Rummen håller en bra standrad men är lite små om man bor en familj med 2 barn. Närheten till havet och poolområdet håller hög standard. Hotellet var populärt för företagsevent och det var ibland trångt i poolen.

We have just stayed at the Avenra for 6 nights and we are leaving with mixed feelings. The good: - attentive staff - great location next to the beach - nice pool area - breakfast is ok The bad: - the rooms are small - not suited for more than 2 adults. If you bring kids - get two rooms, or find another hotel! - in general the hotel is a bit outdated - especially the rooms. A brush of paint will not be sufficient. - you are not alone the in the room. Ants and cockroaches are keeping you company. - don't have dinner at the hotel. Way over priced and not great quality. - poor wifi throughout the entire hotel. Make sure you ask for a 1st floor corner room facing the beach.

Great place to stay, pictures are actually what you get. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. No other hotel on the strip compares. Breakfast buffett is a fantastic spread. Had a great time.

Average stay in the hotel. The first room had a strong drain smell in the bathroom but the second room we moved to was clean. The food menu lacked variety and service was slow. Both mornings we stayed there we were woken early by the sounds of drumming from weddings. Pool was extremely nice but sunbeds and cabanas were allowed to be reserved for hours even though nobody was there. Overall, ok but would not stay again.

The room was a nice location, and that was all. The bathroom smelled the entire 17 days of our stay(16 days we left a day early we could not take it anymore). We notified the staff several times and then directly to the manager. There is a drain system that is open in the bathrooms covered by a metal screen. It smells like a dirty urinal that has not been cleaned for weeks. After days of complaints they covered it with a bleach soaked towel. So it smelled like a bleachy smelly urinal from that point on. The bathroom is designed to look modern with a shower with no walls or doors but your bathroom is wet after a shower. We had to use one towel to share and one to put on the floor to wipe up all the water. It takes a long time to get anything you ask for which is frustrating when you have plans to do things. It eats up your day waiting around for beach towels or 1 hour for food at the restaurant. It is way over priced for the service and value you receive. I would suggest staying somewhere else.
