ランリッチ ヴィラ

The villa is so big and clean,really surprise.It is so suitable for 8 friends together.The host is so nice and friendly,we arrived at villa at 10pm,so late,but he still waited for us.Another surprise is it has hot water to have a bath,it is so scarce in Sri Lanka.The one and only regret is,you know,in Sri Lanka ,there are many ants and other insects.And in our bathroom,there were many ants,but don't care about it ,they will leave and it didn't influence your trip.So, enjoy the villa,and enjoy the Sri Lanka.

My stay at Lanrich Villa was terrible. To start with, the address given at Expedia was wrong and so was the phone number. While being unable to reach the villa, nor can I find it on the google map, it took us and our driver almost an hour to find this place. Free welcome drink indicated in the "included amenities" was not given. The rooms were not clean. There was a humid smell and a paint smell, of which the staff was still doing paint job when we arrived there. It was fine to stay one night, but definitely not enjoyable. What I was unsatisfying about this place was its staff/owner. When asked about the whale watching tour that I booked earlier, he lied to my face telling me that the company I booked with could not find my booking and persuaded me to book a new tour with him at a higher price. Luckily, my driver helped me clear all things out, and it turned out that my whale watching company had my reservations alright. I would also like to add that the staff/owner called me "a head swollen guy" and said all I said were lies in a private reply to my check-in feedback. I would not recommend this place to anyone; there are many other options in the area.
