Staff were incredibly helpful warm and welcoming. The views were amazing from our room; from welcome area and pool area. Definitely recommend this place. The room was spacious and clean. Location was 1 km from ella so approx 500 SR to get to town (uphill!) but an easy walk ( downhill ) to get back !!

Decent hotel with a great view and nice spacious rooms... not too far from city center, but too far to walk as there is a bit of traffic. Breakfast and amenities could be better for the price.

Svært tilgængeligt hotel - stejl opkørsel og og mange trapper for at komme op til værelser. Heldigvis blev bagage båret af personalet. God udsigt og fine værelse - dog kunne kan ikke åbne døren til toilettet indefra, så man skulle huske ikke at lukke døren

Hôtel surclassé à notre goût le seul point positif , une très belle vue de la chambre . Les sanitaire ne fonctionnait pas le refregirateur non plus , les chambres sont très bruyantes ( on entend tout ce qui se passe chez les voisins) petit déjeuner sommaire . Nous avons payé 90 euros ça ne les vaux clairement pas

Misty Hills is located in the most picturesque part of Ella, to walk up to breath taking views of Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak is amazing. High recommended, staff and facilities were excellent. Special mention to Pannier who service was excellent. Thank you

This hotel is adorable with charming rooms and fantastic views. Ella is a developing area so don't expect a 4/5 resort, but more of a cute basic botique hotel feel. It's up a steep hill, but you can walk down and catch a tuk tuk into town that takes only a few minutes.

The view is the only reason you should consider staying here, but you will pay for it as the quality of the accommodation does not match the price. While the service was mostly good, the room stank of a sewer smell (they did try to remedy it when mentioned) and the location is highly inconvenient to the town proper (expect a walk along a road with no real footpaths). Do not under any circumstances order the food at the restaurant. I was not able to eat the rice laden MSG food I ordered - it was not edible. I mentioned this and was met with a bill and apathy.

Ella itself is an amazing city and this room made it even better. Our view was breathtaking. The staff at Misty Hills were SO hospitable, accommodating of our hectic schedule, and helped us arrange transportation and gave us good recommendations on local hikes.

The location of the hotel I see wonderful! About a 10-15 min tuk tul ride from attractions. The staff is very friends and helpful! Only problem I had was the amount of bugs in the room. It is to be expected because the hotel is in the mountains but I had significantly more bugs in my room than my friends who were in the room next door to mine. If you stay here, just be sure to ask the staff to keep the door shut while there are cleaning and it should help alleviate the issue. Beds and pillows are super comfortable. Wifi connection is hit and miss some days. The friendly staff helps to make up for the few flaws. Overall a good stay!

We loved this hotel. Definitely not fancy and especially when you arrive the first impression is a bit concerning (under construction drive way and very basic reception hall) BUT the rooms are lovely with large four poster beds, huge bathrooms and amazing balconies with spectacular views and very comfortable chairs. I loved this place! What was best, the manager and his team were delightful friendly helpful and had the right balance in terms of good service and privacy. Highly recommended!!!

Incredible driveway, but staff will take your bags and then once in your room the view is amazing & staff went out of their way to assist with every need we had.

Made the booking online largely due to high rating of over 9 on this site. Arrived and the driveway was so steep my driver would not drive up to the hotel. Owner got Tuk Tuk to take me up. Hotel looked half finished. They wanted to show me the room I had booked but there were several flights of very steep stairs with no railings to climb. I have a knee injury so impossible for me. No quarters for drivers. Management were very rude to boot and offered no apology. I turned around and walked out and booked another hotel in Ella. I wasted $140 aus on this bad experience. The power is also diesel generator so constant hum until it goes off at night! How this hotel achieved such a high rating is beyond me.
