すごくゆっくりとできるホテルです。ヨーロッパからのカップルがほとんどで、みなさんゆっくりとしています。周囲には何もありませんので、フルボードやハーフボードがいいかもしれません。私は食事無しのプランでしたので、毎回ホテルのレストランで食べました。おいしいですし、値段もそれほど高くありません。夜中に野生の猿が屋根の上を歩くので、けっこう音が気になりました。あと、突然停電があり、食事はろうそくの明かりで取りました。部屋にはかなり大きな懐中電灯があるので、大丈夫でした。

Tres agréable sejour dans un hotel au cadre authentique et apaisant. Le personnel est aux petits soins sans etre trop présents. Les jardins sont magnifiques

This place is amazing, the service was exceptional from arrival to departure, staff are very helpful and pleasant. We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. The food was excellent with good choices for both breakfast and dinner. I would truly recommend this bungalow if you are ever going to Kandy.

Mountbatten Bungalow was amazing. It’s very luxurious accommodation and the staff were great. Our room was huge with a comfortable bed, there was a huge bath in the bathroom and a good shower too. The house is well decorated and the gardens and pool area were beautiful. Breakfast was tasty too. Our only complaint is that it was quite difficult to get into Kandy from Mountbatten Bungalow. The staff do not help you with transport and there is no van or list of drivers phone numbers available. The staff told us just to walk so every time we wanted to go out we had to walk down the hill until we could find a tuk tuk. One day it was raining and we still had to walk in the rain due to no assistance from the staff with transport. If you are not fit or don’t want to walk then you will need to bring your own driver.

Beautiful hotel with amazing service! Wonderful garden and location with a fantastic pool and the best breakfast experience we got in Sri Lanka! Mountbatten Bungalow also had the best and most comfortable bed on our trip. It's really REALLY hard to find the hotel, no signs what so ever until you are at the door. It was impossible to find and the driver was searching for it for an our down the hills. The number here doesn't work either. It's really far from Kandy city, maybe 20 minutes or more with a tuktuk. The pool was amazing with a beautiful view BUT it was freezing cold so you didn't want to swim. Really expensive dinner with boring restaurant part and not so tasty food for the price.

Our recent stay was excellent. Staff approach was professional, efficient , courteous & friendly. Nothing was too much trouble! We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the garden bungalow, looking into the forest & waking to the birds twittering. Allow time to sit around the horizon pool & read memorabilia displayed inside the bungalow. It's a pity we didn't stay longer!

Our first night in Sri Lanka and it is the best one in 7 days. Nice room, excellent food and fantasy pool. Only drawback was that it was too far away from the downtown.

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Colonial atmosphere. Bed comfortable with nice linens. View outside wonderful. Very peaceful.

This is a really beautiful hotel in the hillsides of Kandy with gorgeous views and a lovely garden and swimming pool. Its about 20 min tuktuk to Kandy city. The staff are sweet but some are whimsical and you can wait quite a while to get your food or drink. The interior needs to be reworked. Breakfast is good but dinner was disappointing.

Wunderbare Lage, top Aussicht und Infinity Pool. Zimmer im Haupthaus sind etwas hellhörig, Speisenqualität schwach aber sehr bemühtes und freundliches Personal. Tolle Abwechslung für Sri Lanka Rundreisen und faires Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis.

Det var vanskelig å finne i mørket på kvelden. Ikke noe store eller lyse nok skilt. Men et fantastisk sted. Skulle gjerne ha vært der en natt til. Utrolig vennlig og dyktig personalet.

Great spot & view over Kandy is fab! A very historical guesthouse. Pool is awesome and food was great. Not a great wine list for a wine living family, however G&Ts were on point. We were surprised we were not staying in the old homestead when we were lead to cabins, however the cabins were spotless & well appointed and worked well for our family of 4. The kids had one next to ours and everyone was very comfortable. The gardens were magnificent and so cared for! We would definitely visit again.

Everything perfect, amazing service and the most beautiful pool I have seen in the 12 days I'd been in Sri-Lanka. The rooms have 2 types, inside the main Villa and separate wood houses. Highly recommended but quality price is not that great.

The staff and manager were highly professional. The buiding and gardens were in superb condition. My room was luxurious. Breakfast in the garden was a treat. My driver too was well looked after. I aim to re-visit this beautiful property if at all possible and stay a little longer so as to enjoy the pampering and the quiet comfort of the pool and gardens.

We had an amazing stay at Mountbatten Bungalow. The location is stunning, the staff are friendly and the food was consistently excellent. It's a short ride from central Kandy but feels like it's a world away. The sunset over the pool was stunning and the new chalets in the grounds were perfect.
