Shehan Guest House is great value, really close to the beach and walking distance from all the fun things to do at Mirrisa Beach. Pushpa is also so lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone on a budget looking for a place to stay.

We stayed at Shehan Guest House for six nights and were delighted by the staff and the location in particular. The staff were so kind and helpful, even driving me to the hospital when I injured my chin, and organising tours for us. The location is only 2 minutes from the beautiful Marissa Beach. I would definitely stay again!

Alle super nett und die Mutter kocht fantastisch (Anmeldung fürs Abendessen erforderlich) . Man ist zu Fuß in max 5 min am Strand. Sehr hilfsbereiter Besitzer. Sonderkonditionen beim Walewatching über das Hotel.

Great value, just 100 m to the beach. Nicy and clean rooms, AC and fan. Stayed just one night but can recommed to all budget travellers. Very friendly and helpful staff!

When we arrived we were informed they were booked at sent to On the Rocks down the street where they had a room for us. It was lovely and we are so happy to have stayed there. The breakfast was out of this world. Not only was is big but delicious. I am disappointed I wasn't organized enough to arrange for the cooking lessons they provide. I am actually contemplating a trip back to learn to cook these very tasty dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Oppholdet mitt i Mirissa var fantastisk. Men med tanke på at jeg mistet strømmen på rommet flere ganger, og også mistet wifi mange ganger så trekker det ned litt. Men ellers et veldig koselig sted, og fin avstand til stranden!

We had booked and payed for 2 nights at this guest house, and we have nothing good to say accept for the short distance to the beach. The outdoor area was dirty and had garbage laying around, dirty plates from breakfast was still on the table even though we arrived at 1pm and no one was there. There was hardly any water pressure and you could barely wash your hands. The room was not clean and had a weak small of urin. We ended up leaving, checking in to another place, for the same price!

Was not impressed. The staff were pushy, eat our food, go on our Whale trips etc and this got very tiring. The WIFI was terrible and there was too many mosquitos.
