Spacious en clean villa's. Very friendly staff. It really feels like you are visiting family. Great food (nice breakfast en delicious dinner!). Nice swimming pool. Good place to start or end your trip in Sri Lanka.

Stayed at this great place with my wife and two daughters. Villa Shade has excellent service and is in an amazing calm area close to Negombo city. Walk, run or borrow bicycles to get to town or Negombo beach. Or simply stay in the clean pool within the premises, play basket or badminton.

Lovely well kept grounds and spacious clean villas. Nice pool and other activities basketball badminton. Owner kindly let me have a late checkout as my flight wasn't till 8pm. Not much in immediate area but tuktuks can be arranged and selection of restaurants deliver to property. Highly recommend for a night at start or end of trip.

Het complex heeft meerdere soorten luxe huisjes die zeer compleet en schoon zijn, de eigenaar en het personeel zorgen dat het je nergens aan ontbreekt. Het zwembad was heerlijk. We hebben een mooie rondleiding gekregen door de groente, fruit en kruidentuin. Het ontbijt is er heerlijk en er wordt fruit uit eigen tuin geserveerd.Ook heeft de eigenaar oog voor het milieu en probeert hij te verbeteren waar dit mogelijk is!

Terribly hot in the room, and the hotel charges $8 to use the air condition! A lot of mosquitos, so impossible to be outside or to have the door open. Significantly over charges airport transfer. Clean room, that was the positive about the hotel. Over all the worse hotel in our Sri Lankan vaccation, not recommended!

Die erste Nacht nach unserer Ankunft in Sri Lanka haben wir in der Villa Shade verbracht. Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit offener Gartendusche. Es ist alles sehr sauber und der Eigentümer sehr bemüht. Die City von Negombo ist ca. 10 Minuten mit dem TukTuk von der Villa Shade entfernt. Tuk Tuk und Taxi wurden organisiert, wenn erforderlich. Alles in allem eine gute Adresse für die ersten Tage in Sri Lanka.

Spent my birthday at Villa Shade. Mr. Shiraj, was so kind to have me checked in so early because my flight arrived in the midnight. He make sure that I am comfortable within my stay. He arranged a tuktuk to drive me around beginning and arranged ayurvedic full body massage at Jasmine Villa which is so relaxing. His staff were friendly and always smiling. A traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was prepared when I woke up which is good. Thank you for a relaxing and wonderful stay.

We only were able to stay one night, we wished that we had more time. Stunning property carefully run by a husband and wife who clearly enjoy and love their business. "If you're happy they're happy" very tentative and helpful in every way. The rooms are very nice, clean, comfortable and it's in a quiet area, highly recommend!

I stayed at Villa Shade on a quick stopover on my way to India. It was lovely. The hosts and staff were kind, keen to help but also gave me my privacy. This is the perfect spot to just chill and lay by the pool, sit in the beautiful gardens and read. The power went out in the main house so I was moved t a self contained villa. Very comfortable and private. Highly recommend!
