Kandersteg, located in the Swiss Alps, is a true winter wonderland. The small village is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, making it the perfect destination for a winter getaway. Hotel Alpina sits about a 10min walk from the train station. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. More options for breakfast would have been nice but overall it was a great stay. We arrived 2 days before ski season so had to venture to grindelwald where everything was also closed so best to check the weTger maps on the day and call. During the winter months, Kandersteg transforms into a winter sports paradise. The area is home to a number of ski resorts, including the family-friendly Oeschinen and the more challenging Sunnbüel. The skiing in Kandersteg is fantastic, with well-groomed slopes and a variety of runs for all ability levels. One of the best things about Kandersteg is its charming village center. The small town is filled with cozy restaurants and cafes, many of which serve traditional Swiss dishes. The local food and drink are a highlight of any visit to Kandersteg, and the friendly locals are always happy to recommend their favorite spots.

achei que havia reservado em interlaken, só quando cheguei vi que eram 45 KM, na vespera de natal e para nossa surpresa foi a melhor coisa que nos aconteceu, o hotel é ótimo e fica numa vila pequena, muito bonita, com muita neve e um lago incrivel muito próximo, adoramos a experiencia

Einfache Unterkunft, aber sauber, nettes Personal, gute Lage, Parkmöglichkeiten, wifi und gutes Frühstück.

The best hotel during our 8 nights stay in Switzerland. Lovely views from the room. Our son enjoyed sleeping in the attic beds. The breakfast was OK and the hosts are lovely people. The village of Kandersteg is a place to behold.

El mejor trato que me he encontrado en un hotel sin duda, tanto el hombre de recepcion como la chica de cocina, un cielo de personas, para cualquier cosa les tienes y ya la cena que te ponen riquisima. el hotel super acogedor y de pelicula, volveria sin pensarlo

Die Unterkunft war so wie es schon beschrieben wurde. Es war sauber und alle Utensilien waren vorhanden sowie wlan funktionierten. Das Frühstück war ausreichend von allen vorhanden. Preis und Leistung stimmen

Einfacher Check-in und Check-out, Freundlicher und guter Service, Grosse Auswahl beim Frühstück, sehr feines Essen, bequemes Bett und warme Decken, Zimmer mit Balkon, sehr sauber und viele Handtücher, tolle Lage-Alles tiptop :)

Bien situé, le responsable a bien voulu accepter de nous changer de chambre, car nous souhaitions un balcon. Dommage qu'on ne nous ait pas proposé la carte d'hôte qui donne quelques avantages, nous l'avons vu écrit trop tard.
