Everything was perfect.
The staff was amazing, on our last day as we leave at 5a.m. they have prepared an excellent breakfast box.

Cozy typical swiss chalet hotel. This was a 4 star hotel from the 70's that needs some refurbishing. Nice bathroom design, but the shower system is not functioning well and is hard to handle. Also the bedsheets were not changed during the 13 nights I stayed, but maybe it was possible by request. In the economy room you have a nice balcony facing the other side of the mountain (not the Matterhorn). Spa is included and it has all you need from steam sauna , dry one to a jacuzzi bath with nice antic design, warming mosaic couches. The breakfast was variate and enough to fill you with energy for the slopes. Cozy breakfast room with Matterhorn view. Welcoming personnel at the reception. Close to the Matterhorn-Express station to Furi. Just 10 minutes from the train station by the free Green Bus. It seems that the hotel will change its style - I really hope they will keep this nice building and just renovate it as it has a warm traditional atmosphere of Swiss chalet that many guests appreciate.

全体的に古く、排水のながれは悪かったです。
ただスタッフの方などは親切、フレンドリーでサービスはよかったと思います。

マッターホルンビューのお部屋に宿泊しました。部屋は狭めのため、スーツケースを二人分広げると厳しいですが、あまり部屋にはいなかったため気になりませんでしたが、ベッドは小さく細めのシングルを二つ並べたタイプのため、少し寝にくかったです。（山間のホテルはそんなものでしょうか。） ただ、ベランダからのマッターホルンの眺めは素晴しく、ベランダでワインでも飲みながらユックリするには最高でした。 立地としては、中心部から少し離れているため、大きな荷物の場合はタクシー（約17CHF）かシャトル（10CHF）を利用される方が良いです。荷物がなければ、中心部まで歩いて5～10分程度です。

The hotel staff were excellent. Breakfast had many choices.
Hotel location was fantastic.
The spa area doesn’t open until 4pm.
We had people with us that didn’t ski and they were not able to use the facilities in the morning or during the day. That was a let down.

Although not located centrally in the middle of Zermatt, it’s only a 8-10 minute walk from the train station. It’s got lots of charm (the decor is very traditional, a little bit “tired” looking but cute) and it is very clean in the most important ways (bathroom, linens, general spaces. Unfortunately, I didn’t like how dirty the carpeting is, so if you’re like me and get grossed out by that, bring slippers!

It’s a ski town, so expect it to be slightly dirty. Walls are very thin and could hear fellow travelers coughing throughout the night.
Overall, it was a good stay. It did the job of giving me shelter for the night. 😊

It is a hotel you will remember for a long time.
The view from the balcony is magnificent. It is like watching a movie "Matterhorn" from the VIP seats.
It is located very close to the Matterhorn Express station.
You can walk to the center of Zermatt or take a free E-bus in a 2-minute walk from the hotel.

The hotel was not very convenient to the train when you have luggage. The hotel did not provide shuttle service. That was the only negative. The front desk, Marta (?) was so nice and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic!!! There were so many options and the staff was so friendly. The view of Matterhorn just can’t be beat. Also, there is a spa that has individual jacuzzis and warm stone loungers which were wonderful after long hikes. Would definitely recommend Hotel Antares!
