朝食は8時からでしたが「Jungfrauに行くから早めに外出したい」とお願いしたら、6時にしてくれました。割と融通は効くみたいです

対応もはやく、部屋も綺麗でした。部屋からの眺望も最高でした。

ブリエンツの中央駅から徒歩15分程度はかかる場所にある。大きな荷物をひいて歩くには少し遠いと思われる。 自分はグリンデルワルトから向かったが、予定が押していたのもあり、 地図を調べて、より近かったインターラーケンから見て１つ手前のブリエンツヴェスト駅で降りたが、 こちらはこちらで無人駅でかつ街灯のあまり無い住宅街 (と言うにはちょっと静かすぎる雰囲気の裏道、という印象)を歩くことになるので、 夜にはかなり真っ暗な感じで女性一人だとちょっと怖い思いをするかもしれない。 こちらの所要時間は７～8分程度か(別の日に走ったら5分位で行けた)。 ホテルの設備は問題無し、だが10月上旬でまだそこまで寒くなかったのに、 部屋のオイルヒーターが効き過ぎて暑く、 出力の調節も全然効かなかったので、夜中に窓を全開にして風を入れる羽目に何度も陥った。 それを除けば非常に良かった(逆にこれのせいで設備評価は3点) レストランも地元客も多くてにぎわっていた。

Location wise, this could not be better. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was nice. The restaurant in the evening has a good selection of Swiss traditional dishes - otherwise you can cross the road and go to Loewen (which belongs to the hotel as well). Note that for late night check-in you need to call them so they can leave your room key in a safe box at the main entrance (dead easy).

Je ne comprends pas la note de cette établissement. Le seul point positif est la localisation. Sinon l'établissement est vieillot et surtout le niveau de prestation ne justifie pas le prix payé! Déjà, quand dans la chambre, on ne donne qu'une bouteille d'eau de 50 cl alors que c'est une chambre pour au moins 2 personnes. Ça annonce la couleur. Pas de café, pas de thé mais surtout pas de bouilloire d'eau et quelle ne fut pas ma surprise en voyant une bouilloire à la réception avec l'information suivante: 3,50 CHF pour une tasse d'eau chaude! C'est vraiment une honte! Rien que pour ça, la note de l'établissement ne devrait même pas dépasser 2/10. Les photos sont trompeuses, on pense qu'on va prendre le petit déjeuner avec la vue sur le lac....que nenni, le buffet est dans l'autre bâtiment avec zéro vue, juste une simple cafétéria. Le petit déjeuner est juste correcte avec un temps d'attente à la machine à café de plusieurs minutes. Franchement payer 250 euros pour une chambre et une prestation comme ça, c'est de l'abus. Je ne recommande pas. Mais la tasse d'eau chaude à 3.50 CHF est une attraction à elle seule car il faur le voir pour le croire

The hotel was right across the street from the lake. Delicious breakfast and great location in a beautiful, quiet town. Would definitely recommend this hotel and if in the area I would stay here again!

friendly staff and fair breakfast, But there is several location of this hotel our room was across the street and the room was old, i felt like the bed was a prison cot. small and thin and uncomfortable, the shower and bathroom was fine.

Too overvalued we didn’t like this at all

Tres bien situé le personnel est tres accueillant. La situation est idylique, Niveau confort par contre cest compliqué les matelas et sommier sont prevu dans un etat epouventable on senfonce comme si ils avaient 30 ans ... La rue en bruyante et il ny a pas de clim, le clocher sonne toutes les 15mn jusqua 3h am autant dire impossible de dormir. Par contre les ballades la situation cest au top

Otima localização, bom café da manhã

So glad we decided to visit Brienz. This is a fabulous hotel with their terrific restaurant across the street with an outstanding view from the Terrace.

Check in was great (Sophia is very sweet), property is nice and food at the restaurant was really good. It is at the end of town so a lot of walking to get to the hotel and back to the main part of town. Also next to a church so if you don’t mind hearing the bell every 15 minutes (or you don’t like sleeping) it’s a good spot.

Excellent customer service

We would go back. I loved it. My husband was a little less enthusiastic partly because we had to haul our bags up a couple short flights of stairs and partly because he had to duck while walking around the room. The ceiling was quite low and he is 6 ft tall. :) I’m not certain he was actually going to hit his head it was more that it felt like he might. Amazing breakfast in a very quaint old room. If you are looking for modern this isn’t it, but if you like some national heritage and a good night sleep (great beds) this is it! Wish we could have stayed longer.

The view

It’s about a 13 minute walk to the train station so it’s in a convenient location. We had a room facing the lake so the view was beautiful. It’s got a very rustic, cozy feel.
