ホテル代が高いインターラーケンを避けて、さらにラウターブルンネンも避けて、Wengenのホテルにしましたが、それでも1泊4万円を超します。 この辺りのホテルはどこもそうかも知れませんが、部屋から見える景色は抜群です。 部屋にポットがなかったので、熱いお湯が欲しいと伝えたら、なんと電気ポットを貸してくれました。 湯船はついていませんでした。

I stayed here for 4 nights. There was neither an electric kettle nor a fridge. We did not feel comfortable as couldn't drink and eat food properly. People leave their room keys at each place of the front desk side when they go outside. The clerk may or may not be there. It isn't safe for guests and there was not a safety box in the room as well, so we take our valuables when going out. Whenever we eat breakfast, we were fixed at the seat of a number tag on the dining table. A waiter gave us a hot pot of coffee after our order. My seat was in a place with dim light. I requested to change my seat, but did not allow it soon. The breakfast buffet didn't have vegetables, only canned fruit, but there were cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. at the other hotels in Switzerland. The elevator looks very old-fashioned. It had to be opened and closed by hand. I didn't use the elevator as it felt risky, but excluding carrying luggage. The bathtub was very wide, it was very deep so I could lie face up on it. It was very comfortable for us. The carpets are lay on the stairs, on the floors of the passageways. The floor sometimes creaks when we walk. There were paintings on the walls of the stair. There was a graceful-looking bar with a piano and the hotel itself looks graceful. The hotel is near Wengen station but is located uphill. We were a little hard to go up hill. Regarding this hotel choice, I wonder it depends on personal taste if you like which of traditional classic or modern atmosphere.

予定を詰め込んだ旅行だったので、夕食つきのホテルでゆっくりしたかったのですが、予約が直前過ぎて、夕食が別の場所となってしまい、残念でした。ただ部屋をアップグレードしていただけたり、チェックアウト時にチョコレートのお土産が会ったのが嬉しかったです。

Lovely hotel! Amazing staff that are very kind, quick and attentive. The hotel was lively with live music at night and great food. The views from the room were beautiful and it was very clean. The only bad thing was the really strong sewage smell in the hallways and room

Beautiful view from the balcony. It was the best hotel/area we've visited, but we love the mountains.

A lovely old heritage hotel with a vintage feel, very clean and an excellent staff. A recommended experience. Close to train station, safe walking, good breakfast with an awesome view of the Jungfrau.

Amazing staff and beautiful view

We loved staying in this cute hotel. Wengen is such a pretty town and Hotel Falken is a gem to add to the area. The hotel manager was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast tasted amazing. We will come back soon! Our favorite part of the hotel was Charlie. We love you Charlie <3

Gorgeous views from this property! Hard to say anything negative. It is a charming old hotel. The breakfast was great. They also have a little “shuttle” to help with luggage. The hotel sits on a steep hill - so highly recommend that. The town itself is sleepy - not too much going on, but we loved that! It’s easy to jump on the train and go somewhere nearby. I would say they could upgrade the duvets and the beds a bit. That’s the reason for 4 stars, not 5. I got an extra duvet and all the feathers were in one half of it! Even when they made the bed, they left it that way - haha.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was great and the hotel was beautiful. We loved listening to the soothing sound of the cowbells from the pasture nearby.

Hotel Falken is a charming hotel perched on top of the town of Wengen. If you like character, classic charm, and warmth, you’ll love your stay. The hotel offers the most beautiful views of the mountains and the breakfast buffet (included in your stay) was delicious with many options. It’s pricier, but worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Falken. Our room offered great comfort and a breathtaking view, and we appreciated the consistent housekeeping. The historic charm of the lobby and dining area was very inviting. All the servers and staff were outstandingly friendly and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and the excellent coffee. While everything tasted great, I wished for a little more variety in the breakfast menu throughout our stay, but nonetheless, always enjoyed breakfast on our 4 day stay! Don’t hesitate to stay at this hotel when visiting the breathtaking village of Wengen!

Very good experience at hotel Falken, great surrounding environment, kind of old English style room and breakfast

This town is a car free zone, so going out of town will cost you a train ride. Since it was rainy and foggy day, we relaxed, just walked around the town .

Clean and wonderful our room was south west facing wonderful. Tomorrow. The beds were comfortable

The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated with excellent views from the balcony! However, since it is so old, you could hear everyone’s footsteps above you (as im sure people below us heard ours). It is much like a bed & breakfast.The staff was friendly & the breakfast buffet was very good! It is a little bit of a walk uphill to get to it if your health needs to consider that. They will give you a ride for 15 francs if needed.

Very comfortable stay with a very good dinner. Although the hotel included breakfast for all guests, many items would run out and were not replenished.

Incredible location with a magical view. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well!
