ホテル ロマンティカ

スイスらしい作りの可愛いホテルで、部屋も清潔で居心地が良かったです。 駅から少し歩きますが、スーツケースを押しながらでも苦になる距離ではありませんでした。 大通りからホテルのある細い通りに入ると割と急な坂道で、そこを登るのが少ししんどいです。雪が残っていたので恐々登りました。 ホテル敷地内はゴムが敷かれていて滑らないようになっています。 帰りは駅まで送って頂けたので助かりました。 天気が悪くマッターホルンを見れなかった事をホテルの方が残念がって下さり、夏はホテルは花がいっぱいだし、ぜひ再訪してね、と声をかけて下さり、いつかリベンジしたいと思います。

スタッフの対応もよく、部屋も清潔、朝食ビュッフェの内容も標準的で十分に満足でした。 今回は予算の都合で低価格の部屋にしたのですがその部屋は予想以上に狭かった。 室内はスーツケースの置き場に困るほど、シャワールームは体を洗う時に壁にどこがぶつかる位など。 そしてシャワールームの床は滑りやすく改良が必要。

My wife was not good condition. I have to care my wife. The staff support me. They gave me great help. They are courtesy and kindness. If I can travel again , I stay again. I recommend this hotel.

スキーのため4泊しました。スキーのブーツを運ぶのに、駅からの道路状態次第（路面凍結等）ではスーツケースの使用も憚られておりましたが、事前にメールにて状況を伺うことができ、スーツケースにて問題なく運ぶことができました。朝食は4日とも同じメニューでやや代わり映えしなかったかな。。ホテルの人は皆気さくで、とても感じよかったです。部屋の狭さが難点でした。

バーンホフ通りから少し入った場所にある家族経営の小さなホテルです。部屋は清潔で、ホテルの方もフレンドリーでした。ただ家族経営だけに早朝深夜はフロントに誰もおらず、滞在中は玄関の鍵を渡されます。チェックアウトは7：30でした。早朝から出かけて深夜に帰ってくる場合は行き先がわかるメモを残しておいてほしいそうです。

ホテルの価格の高いスイスで割安に宿泊できた。 場所：駅に近く、メイン通りからも１分で行ける。 設備：Wifi安定している。冷蔵庫なし。湯沸しなし。 朝食：飲み物がcoffee,tea以外にチョコレート（ココア）が選べる。ゆで卵あり。 来年もここに滞在したいと思った。 ６月上旬というオフシーズンだったので安くとまれた。（２泊）　最終日にやっとマッターホルンを見ることができた。スネガ行きのロープウェイは閉鎖中。（中旬から稼動）　ゴルナーグラートの駅周辺は積雪でとても夏用のトレッキングシューズで次の駅までハイキングできる状態でない。（軽アイゼン、スパッツが必要なレベル）

私たちが泊まったのは３２０号室、北東の角部屋でした。ホテルの部屋は東向きで東には有名な教会の塔が見え、その先にゴルナグラート鉄道が見えます。マッターホルンは南西方向なのでまったく見えません。バスタブがあり、北に面し、ツェルマットの駅方向が見えました。宿泊部屋は２階と３階で３階は２人用が４部屋しかありません。場所はメインストリートより５０ｍ入ったところにあり、MGBツェルマット駅より徒歩１０分です。このHPでの紹介写真ではロビーの絵がちょっと変な感じで心配でしたが、個人経営の民宿といった感じですが、オーナーのセンスが非常に良く、何から何までよかったです。オーナのおばあさんが、あまり上手ではないと思われる英語でいろいろ説明してくださいました。こちらの語学力はまったくでしたが、熱意が伝わってきました。インターネットは無線LANがあり、パソコンを持っていったのでネットを使わせてもられえました（無料） 教会までは歩いて５分もかからないので朝日に映えるマッターホルンを見に行くのにも楽です。朝食は７時半からでした。ビュッフェ方式でパンの種類も多く満足です。ヨーグルトもおいしかった。今回のスイス旅行で一番よかったホテルです

We selected Hotel Romantica for its convenient location and online reviews. Very pleased with our two night stay. The hotel is comfortable with everything you need and more. Upon checking in Thor greeted us and was most gracious! He shared recommendations and guided our stay. We felt as if we were staying at a bed & breakfast because of the friendly and welcoming service. Thank you Thor and to the entire staff for making our first visit to Zermatt most enjoyable!

Very friendly staff great location

We loved this Swiss Chalet hotel in Zermatt. Thor and his wife were so helpful with everything during our stay and made us feel like family. The flowers on the property, the location and room were everything we expected from Switzerland.

This hotel is in the center of Zermatt and is surrounded by a lovely garden. It is run by a second-generation family member, and she does an outstanding job. The hotel staff knows Zermatt very well and will help direct your stay. The hotel is spotless and has a classic mountain alpine feel and appearance. Would strongly recommend.

I can’t speak highly enough of Romantica! The walk towards it already made me smile as it looked enchanting (like a Hansel and Gretel house) and then as soon as I got to the desk Thor was immediately radiating warmth and kindness and I ended up chatting to him for about half an hour before I even got checked in! He couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, full of information and great stories and inspirations for my time in Zermatt, I was just very sad I was only staying for one night! The location is ideal; nice and central, but also quiet enough to sleep with no problems at all. I was a solo traveller and it catered perfectly for my needs, a good sized room with a single bed that felt larger than others I’d slept in in Switzerland - and then there was the breakfast! I filled my face at Breakfast in all of my previous stays in Switzerland to save money during the rest of the day, but I did it here because it was so tasty – I had about four pastries they were so delicious - and having missed “good” sausages for a while, the ones at Romantica hit the spot for sure! I can’t speak highly enough of the place - and the people. My go to when I come back again!

I cannot emphasize enough what a gem this place is. The proprietors were friendly and knowledgeable and made our whole trip more worthwhile. From making dinner reservations to helping us plan out our hike and many other services, they were everything we could ask for. The rooms have a very homey atmosphere and the hotel is set back a little from the main road, so it is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is wonderful and there is even a beautiful flower garden out front. I would stay her again a thousand times. Thank you Michelle and Thor.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Romantica in Zermatt. The location is ideal—just steps from the main street, yet quiet and peaceful. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained, and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and plentiful. A perfect start to each day! If you’re looking for a cozy, convenient, and well-run hotel in Zermatt, this is it. Family owned. Hotel looks like a Swiss postcard. Terrific lobby, very nice rooms, diverse continental and cooked breakfast, plus gorgeous garden!

Hotel Romantica was so charming, quaint and comfortable. We had a junior suite that was more than enough room for the two of us. Michelle and Thor were gracious hosts and very accommodating to our needs and also gave wonderful recommendations to explore Zermatt.

This is a one of a kind unique experience. The owner has had the property in the family for generations. Breakfast is amazing. The rooms are modern and clean. It is steps away from the center of town.
