Hôtel Les Armures

A nicely maintained traditional European hotel with cleanly renovated rooms. As it is located in the center of the old town, views from windows are buildings and sunshine was not expected. The hotel was very nice and staff was great with hospitality, but I would not recommend having dinner at the hotel restaurant which seems to be famous among tourists. Restaurant staff apparently get tired of tourists, and I was disappointed that they brought us sparkling water and Sprite though we asked for a glass of sparkling wine and Lemonade. When I asked about Sprite, their explanation was the bottled Sprite was Lemonade, which suprised and disapponted me a lot. I asked the hotel reception whether they didn't serve Lemonade and the person at the reception said that they had Lemonade. I'm just curious if the restaurant staff really believed Sprite was Lemonade, which is disappointing and surprising in any way. They lacked patience and respect when we ordered of food - I'm still trying to understand if it was because I was an Asian female with a kid (though he was behaving well) or why. Their behavior when they brought Japanese menu when they misunderstood my question was arrogant and that was also very disappointing and ruined my last night in Geneva.

駅からスーツケースを下げて、とはいかないが旧市街の入口にあり市内散策には適した立地。部屋は清潔で暖かく、アメニティ類も行き届いている。朝食は種類が非常に多いとは言えないが、クオリティは高いと思う。レマン湖の眺めは散歩がてら湖畔まで行って楽しむ、という人には間違いなくお勧めできるホテル。

２月末の２泊の利用でした。穏かな天気と観光客が少ないことでゆったりとすごすことができました。ホテルの朝食は洗練された美味しいものでした。特に自家製のクロワッサンは絶品です。ロケーションは旧市外の真ん中、史跡が近くにあり、ローヌ通りやレマン湖など散歩がてらに歩く街並も楽しめ、夏でもレマン湖畔でなく、またここに泊りたいですね。

Spectacular jewel of a small boutique hotel! Last minute find and a complete delight. I would not consider staying elsewhere if my travels ever take me to Geneva again. Hard to find but worth the effort. Did not wander far and only stayed one night before my flight home so I cannot confidently comment on the location except to say it was impossibly charming.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Perfect location in the old town, steps from the cathedral and a short walk to the lake. Super helpful staff. Rooms are beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. The restaurant is a must try, as is the wine bar.

Hotel Les Armures is a beautiful boutique gem in the heart of Geneva, right next to the Cathedral. It is charming and romantic, offering an intimate sense of place that larger luxury hotels often lack. Being right next to the owner’s famous fondue restaurant is a standout bonus for any stay. Where it Falls Short I cannot give it five stars because the amenities aren't at that level. Like other hotels in Geneva, the property feels a bit dated. Specifically, the bathroom requires climbing into a high-walled bathtub; my wife and I are in great shape and still found it awkward. It must be very impractical for children or seniors. Additionally, there is no gym on-site. Even more disappointing for a 5-star hotel, they do not provide free access to a nearby facility, only a discount. At this price point, I expect fitness access to be included. Verdict Les Armures has plenty of soul and attentive service. However, the dated bathroom setup and lack of modern facilities keep it from being a true 5-star experience. It’s a very good 4-star stay, but it doesn't quite hit the top-tier luxury mark.

Very clean, comfortable, excellent location, very nice breakfast option, very good restaurant. Totally worth the price for a stay in Old Town Geneva.

Excellent hotel in the old town of Geneva. Great staff, Quality furnishings and an excellent main restaurant, Dinner was excellent. Breakfast Room and Breakfast a bit of a let down for the cost. If staying again I would take in a local cafe rather than pay Euro 35-40 for limited choice in a small breakfast room.

A total class act, so cozy and clean comfortable and modern

Staff, location, property, location all 5 stars! We can’t wait to return and we’re sad to leave. We had an absolutely wonderful stay!
