Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, freundlicher Empfang, sehr gutes Essen, bequeme Betten. Ein wunderschönes authentisches Bergdorf. Sehr zu empfehlen .

Ett fantastiskt hotell i en by som är väldigt liten men ligger på berget på ca 1000meters höjd Vägen dit är en upplevelse bara den värd ett resan

Alles was perfect. Leuke mensen, goede kamers en goed eten. En niet te vergeten een prachtig uitzicht!

Great service! Relaxed and beautiful surroundings. The view from the restaurant is great other than that it was very average which isn’t bad. There’s not really any choice in where to eat and it was good too, basically pizza. At around 17-20 CHF it gets pricey.

Traumhafte Aussicht Mega leckeres Frühstück

Locatie is geweldig voor het uitzicht. Het hotel lijkt goed maar vergis je niet. De kamers boven zijn zo gehorig dat je letterlijk ieder hoestje van je buren hoort alsof ze naast je liggen. De badkamer die de gasten zonder eigen badkamer moeten delen ligt naast een kamer, waar wij zaten, ieder druppeltje is hoorbaar alsof het naast je gebeurt. Bedden zijn planken met matrassen zo hard en dun dat de lattenbodem eronder voelbaar is. Ontbijt zou van 6.00 tot 9.00 uur zijn. We hebben vanaf 6.30 tot 7.25 gewacht. Toen ging er eindelijk een deur open. Zonder schaamte en excuses moesten we nog 5 minuten wachten. Wij hebben de sleutel ingeleverd en zijn weggegaan zonder ontbijt.

Als je per ongeluk de juiste afslag mist ben je aangewezen op een heel smalle en gevaarlijke bergweg. Bij het hotel geen parkeerplaats wel verder in het dorp. Verder uitstekend! Schoon eenvoudig maar goed ontbijt en goede douche en heerlijke pizza’s in het restaurant! Prachtig uitzicht

Luckily we arrived in daylight, as the road up to the Osteria zig-zagged in impossible hairpins up from the valley. It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience. The hamlet of Anzonico clings to the side of an Alp and there is no vehicle access to the Osteria. Parking is in a lay by about 50 yards further up. Having walked back with our luggage, we were greeted by Claudia, the proprietor, who showed us straight to our room, a snug little space under the main building. It had a lobby and a decent sized bathroom, but not much room around the large comfortable bed. We booked a table on the terrace for dinner and once the dog had been walked around town, we sat down to enjoy a meal in one of the most spectacular locations ever. Claudia served us delicious spritzes, before the day's special menu of fresh salad, fried cheese and bacon pasta and chicken in a cream sauce, finished off with a torta del pane, a variety of bread and butter pudding. We drank local red wine. As we dined, the darkness crept slowly up the valley. We slept well and managed to get a table at the edge of the terrace for breakfast (fresh bread, jam, local cheese and coffee) where we were dazzled by the light changing on the mountain opposite. Claudia was again polite, helpful and though not fluent in English, spoke enough for us to easily understand. A unique experience.

Great quirky hotel with simply stunning views. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. Dinner was beautiful so can’t really fault this place but it’s not a hotel for those with mobility issues as there are lots of steps.

The Osteria Anzonico is amazing! SUch a lovely place, the hosts are fantastic, dinner & breakfast are all based on their local home-grown produce and jams, highly recommended!

Verrassend mooie locatie.

A very charming osteria / hotel in a hillside location. The route up was not for the faint hearted - narrow road with lots of switchback turns, but worth it. The room was modest, but with lovely terrace with mountain views. Evening menu was limited but food was excellent, followed by very pleasant walk around the quaint village. Overall, quite pricey but very relaxing overnight stay.
