It was a nice place

The location was great! Away from the beach boys and quiet. Bathroom had no roof so was open to the whole room and stairs to the upper bed were very steep. Shower was questionable but we had a great time and the staff were attentive.

5 Stars: the view was amazing. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean! 4 stars: Location. Restaurant food was delicious. 3 Stars: price for the room was reasonable. 2 Stars: drinks at the bar were very watered down. 1 Star: horrrible spa facility. I stopped my massage after 20 minutes because the masseuse was that bad. It was supposed to be a deep tissue massage and ended up being a horrible massage. Every service here is designed to overcharge you. The laundry service was too expensive. You can get wayyy cheaper taxis and tours if you book outside of the hotel. Late check out is $10 an hour. Overall, this is not a bad place to stay at as long as you don’t get any of the hotel’s services. It felt like they prioritized profit over comfort for guests. If you stay here, book all your needs elsewhere and you’ll have a good time at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel just by the beach. The beach is not swimmable when lowtide though but nice pool area provides opportunity for sunbathing and swimming throughout the day.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Great location and lovely staff. Would definitely stay again.

Mycket trevligt. Bra läge vid vattnet, några minuters promenad till din sandstrand. Tryggt.

Friendly staff and great view. Perfect for relaxing. The beach was not my favorite by low tide. But the rest were great.

This will not be a repeat visit for me. It started with the front desk. Instead of a warm welcome we were greated with "passports?" The rooms were clean but dated. The free breakfast extremely lacking in variety and flavor. The paid food was decent but overpriced for the area. Hard mattresses. Some of the staff, the women, were great and friendly. We did one onsite excursion with a sunset Dhow cruise which was overcrowded and expensive. The cost of this place is definitely not worth it.

Fantastiskt fint!! Utmärkt Service!! Stor eloge till Andrew en fantastisk man som gjorde vår upplevelse så mycket bättre. Sjukt hjälpsamma och trevliga människor, allihopa! Sjukt vacker utsikt över vattnet och skön pool. Bekvämt rum men en hel del insekter dock. Mycket myror och djur som var överallt i rummet. Viktigt att sova med draperiet på så det inte kryper upp något i sängen. Det enda negativa i princip. Annars riktigt fint och mysigt ställe

Beautiful hotel on the beach at the north end of Zanzibar. This beach was quieter than the west side of Nungwi. Less "beach boys" hassling you on the beach.

Deluxe room was more of a suite with separate kitchen area, bathroom & bedroom, Large balcony with both chairs and a twin hammock. Not plush by European standards but quite nice anyway. AC was great, wifi was good, food was good. A couple of silly rules, IE outside drinks will be confiscated but a nice stay.

Very nice scenery and nice design of the landscape. But I was met by s cockroach when I stepped in the room. The power went out every day for 1-2 hours and it was not always the hotel wanted to turn on the generator. I got food poisoning at dinner. The hammock infornt of the cottage was nice.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Its a ti min walk to sentral Nungwi. This place is great , its a good place to relax We stayed in the family superior room seaview, this is a big room with a Nice balcony with seaview. The bed is really hard but it was ok for a few nights for us. The staff was great , thanks to Andrew in the bar , he is great.

I sent with my family and need two rooms, which we got in a shared appartment. Really nice and big rooms with privat bathroom and toilet. A great place. But a big minus was a generator right besides our room which was really noisy, and the water in the bath was only hot and almost mon existing … besides this … we really enjoyed our stay, great location, nice staff, great service, great breakfast … so 4,5 stars … and value for money.

En vistelse över förväntan. Vid högvatten var det perfekt hav att bada i. Poolen och de gemensamma utrymmena var mycket fräscha. Rummet i huset med hängmattor var helt perfekt för oss. Mindre problem åtgärdade hotellet direkt. Maten i restaurangen vart typisk hotel standard för området, fräscht och gott men inte särskilt spännande. Ett stenkast bort finns den fantastiska restaurangen Aluna. Enskilt läge, men ändå bara 5minuter promenad till centrala delar och 15min promenad till större stränder.

Härliga bungalows med fantastisk utsikt. Frukost, lunch och middag var riktigt bra. Goda drinkar i baren där kvällens var gjord med färskfrukt. Sängarna var hårda som alltid på Zanzibar :-)

Best place to stay when you’re in Zanzibar! Quiet, secluded and best views of the Indian Ocean!

Les fenêtres ne cernais pas entièrement, le robinet du lavabo de la salle de bain ne fonctionnait que pour l eau chaud Et quand je demande à avoir une chambre plus correct on me dit que c’est 20 dollars en plus par nuit, quand je dis que non que trop cher on me dit 10 J’ai jamais vu ça ils auraient dû me changer gratuitement de chambre
