Better than others around

Remodeling work in progress during stay, so some noise. Otherwise, very calm and relaxing. Quiet neighborhood across from golf course.

Ruhig, am Stadtrand gelegen mit schönem Garten. Zimmer einfach, aber mit allem was man braucht. Klimaanlage funktioniert. Restaurant mit indischer Küche. Frühstück landestypisch einfach. Personal zurückhaltend freundlich. Leider schlechte Kommunikation mit dem Gast. Anfragen vorab zwecks Abholung werden nicht beantwortet. Insgesamt trotzdem empfehlenswert.

Second stay for us, we love hiking in the Uluguru Mountains. Love the architecture, the location, the kind staff. Our only complaint was a faint but consistent hip hop beat somewhere in the distance all. night. long.

Great location, good value , friendly staff and great Indian food.

Der Zeitraum für die Nutzung des Pools ist nicht besonders lang. Nach 18 Uhr darf man nicht mehr baden, da dann Chemikalien zur Reinigung in den Pool gegeben werden.

It was very nice stay, clean room and best Indian food prepared by Indian chef from Uttrakhand. Will visit again.

Beautifully located hotel with an authentic atmosphere. It needs a bit of a makeover though…

The hotel is set in a beautiful green compound with great views of the Uluguru Mountains. It's quiet and peaceful and the staff aim to please. However, the property is quite dated, and could use a facelift.

Clean and reasonably modern hotel. Pool area is a good place for families and couples. Rooms are spacious and in interesting oval buildings. In a nice area of Morogoro called Forest Hill which is just 5 minutes from town. Lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby e.g. Black and White, Motown, Rock Garden.

The management is not providing training, nor caring for their staff and the property. The hotel didn't have enough cutlery; in the dining area the table covers were dirty, it appeared they used the same table covers before washing during breakfast the next day. The breakfast was pathetic with minimal options. The rooms had dusty floors, the duvet on the bed didn't have a cover on it and the sheets had spots of brown stains and dust. The rooms are far off from their photo representation, they were actually filthy. My experience at Morogoro Hotel was terrible, I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone. If we hadn't arrived so late into the night we would have searched for a different hotel to stay for the night. Expedia should not be taking advance payments for hotels and stay locations they have not vetted. Taking advance booking with no refunds is a ploy for properties like these.

Het hotel is verouderd . Is aan vernieuwing toe. Ontbijt is volgens Tanzaniaanse norm redelijk. Prijs kwaliteit is niet in verhouding.

Herşey çok güzel. Ama yemek servisi çok yavaş. Sipariş verdikten 1 veya 2 saat sonra geliyor. Diğer tüm hizmetler gayet iyi. Çok güzel ve sakin bir yer. Geniş bir alanı var. Otel içinde yürüyüş bile yapabilirisiniz.

Poor house keeping. No water at times. Had to beg for towels and toilet paper. Sub standard breakfast. Overall poor service however great location near the golf course. Lacking management

I've stayed here on a number of occasions and have always been impressed by the hospitality shown by the management and staff. The hotel has lodge style accommodation and the rooms are spacious with high quality a/c. Overall cleanliness was very good but the bathroom needs updating. However the shower in my bathroom was the most powerful I've ever experienced - a wonderful experience after a tiring day! The pool area was clean, spacious with a children's pool and play area. The dining room was elegant and extended into an outdoor patio where you can dine overlooking the pool. The wifi was free and worked exceptionally well throughout the property. Breakfast was buffet style with a decent selection of food. Dinner was ok with a large and varied selection of dishes. I will continue to use this Hotel for my trips to Morogoro. Like most Tanzanian hotels there is no consideration to disability access so this hotel might not be suitable for a wheelchair user.

the service at this hotel is pretty poor. I woke up at 5:00 am to get ready for my hikingtour of Mt Uluguru to find there was no hot waterwater for a shower. I complained to the front desk and the receptionist came to my room which achieved nothing but to waste my time. He then returned to the front desk and say there without attempting to dip anything about the problem. I had to go without a shower. The attitude was that if they waited long enough, I would go away. I eventually had to call Expedia who were also not very helpful and it took a lot of arguing on my part to get the resolution i wanted (a refund on the room). I have stayed at this hotel twice now and the service send to be getting worse. Never again.
