アリヤ・ガーデン・ハウス

We booked Aaliyah garden resort a week before travelling after a cancellation from Expedia for our original hotel! As accommodation during full moon gets booked up so far in advance, we just booked whatever we could find. We were a little apprehensive but on arrival all that changed. The bungalows are so cute, yes they are basic but have everything you need - including little toiletries in the shower! The best thing about staying here is definitely the staff, Aaliyah - the lady that owns it is so friendly and funny, she recommended us places to eat, where to buy full moon clothes from and even organised a tuk tuk taxi for us and all the others staying going to full moon. Nothing was too much trouble, she came to the bungalow to let us know the taxi was here and also to check on us the next morning. Her son even dropped us to the ferry terminal the next day! We were only there for 1 night for full moon but even so we had a lovely time and it was only 10 minutes to Haad rin beach so close enough to get to all the full moon action but far enough way to be out of all the business when you wanted to come home.
