Liam is a wonderful host. He even picked us up from the pier, making it very easy to get to our room with all of our luggage. He was very accommodating, polite, and helpful. He gave great recommendations for nearby places to eat. The hotel is walking distance to the beach, which is absolutely gorgeous. This is a great option for your stay on Ko Lanta.

Wonderful stay from checkin to checkout. Room was quiet and comfortable with excellent AC, very high speed wifi, awesome TV and newly installed bathroom. Staff was 5 stars: kind, anticipating needs and consistently exceeding expectations. Location is steps away from the island's nicest beach and restaurants. Whole heartedly recommend.

Very clean and new rooms. Staff doesn't speak a lot of English, but everything is manageable. It's slightly difficult to find anyone at the reception, half of my tries were unsuccessful. In the morning of our departure there was no one to check us out and making sure our car to port was coming (it finally did, 30 minutes late).

We spent 4 nights Lanta Amara Resort. Hotel is bit over year old and rooms are in excellent condition. Everything was ultra clean and people were helpful and nice. Communication was slightly challenging due to very limited english skills of staff. Our room was big with balcony and large bathroom. We enjoyed our stay with Lanta Amara alot. Location is very nice with only short 5 min walk to the beach. Wlan performance was not very good and 52 inch Smart tv was not too usefull due to same fact. Appart from those minor things every thing was very good. Would come again. Only surprise was that hotel will only accept cash! Credit card will not work unless you have already paid your reservation in advance.

Ungenießbaren Kaffee und Creamer nach Reklamation trotzdem immer wieder nachgelegt. Ansonsten alles wunderbar.

The hotel room itself is excellent. Massive smart TV, comfy bed, nice big shower room, and it's a few minutes to the beach so we went for a swim, left our things in the room and walked back to shower which is ideal. The service was quite poor and some basics missed though, which makes me question the 5 star reviews. We were greeted by two young girls who barely spoke English. They tried their best but it was difficult, I don't think they should have been given that responsibility. We weren't told the WiFi password, there was no hot water and no instructions to get into the safe. When we went to reception to ask about them, there was a new man there who was asleep at the desk. Overall it was a good stay, it's very cheap for what you get and ultimately once we were checked in it was fine, but the super reviews you see everywhere aren't necessarily reflective.

Booked because we found cockroaches in another "premium" hotel we booked around the area. This hotel is a hidden gem and is worth more than it charges right now since it's new. The amenities, cleanliness, and the fact everything is new make this a must-stay property. Only 7 minutes walk from the beach in a very empty part of Long Beach.
