Location is great. Solid 3 star hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Silver Sands and would recommend it. it could do with a bit more furniture as nowhere to put belongings. We kept our stuff on the floor

We chose this place because it was near the office we were scuba diving from and we needed to switch hotels. We called them the day of check in to ask if their free shuttle could pick us up down the street because we had so much luggage and they told us it only went to the ferry. So, we had to walk carrying 5 bags and backpacks. Check in time was stated as 11am, we arrived at the hotel at 12:30 and we were told there was no room ready for us because other guests had just checked out. The woman working the reception desk was not apologetic and acted as if we were inconveniencing her by this. We had to wait an hour before we finally got our room. The room itself was fine, it had AC and was big. The only downside was that there was a massive hole in the ceiling above the shower with mold growing around it. Seeing as how the woman was so unhelpful we didn't even bother mentioning it. The rest of the stay was relatively pleasant, another complaint would be that they never replaced our toilet paper and we had to ask for more each day, and they left trash in our room after cleaning it. We were paying over 30USD a night for this place so we were expecting it to be a bit more hospitable. After traveling through SE Asia for almost 4 months now, we now what comes with budget accommodation, however this place was far more expensive than most we have stayed in and the service was far below average. Plus sides: close to the beach and lots of restaurants near by, pretty central location, AC

Rigtig dejligt værelse med AC og blæser. God mulighed for udlejning af scootere og hjælp til videre rejse. Ikke så avanceret engelsktalende bemanding i receptionen men det gik helt fint alligvel og de var venlige. Poolen blev brugt til dykker undervisning -så man skulle gå ned til stranden. Det var også helt fint jo. Sengene var dejlig bløde - noget man sjældent oplever andet steder syntes jeg haha. En negativ ting var den blæser der var i væggen på badeværelset, som gjorde det muligt for myg at komme ind og spise dig om natten..

Me and my partner couldn't praise the staff who run this hotel enough. Presumably the manager who was on reception when we arrived, genuinely couldn't do enough for you. The room was stunning, and although there was a problem with the air conditioning, the overall stay was amazing! A hotel couldn't be run by a nicer, more attentive group of people.

Musique à l'extérieur à tous va: attendez 1 heure du matin . Logement glauque Loueur de scooters de l'hôtel = DANGER. Nous avons du payer 250€ ! soit le 1/4 du prix neuf d'un scooter après "réduction " pour les égratignures laissées sur la coque à la suite de la simple chute du scooter sur le côté Pas de casques dispos non plus

The best thing about this hotel was location. It's very close to beach, bars and restaurants. Meaning it can get a bit loud too. I've stayed in 2 different rooms and the earlier was great. This one had a lot of mosquitos inside, not so clean, no chairs or anything where you could put your stuff. The wifi was working only every now and then, but i guess that is common problem in this island. The pool is very small.

The manager at this hotel was a super nice guy and always accommodating making you feel welcome. The only problem about this hotel is they said they have a pool and they don't. There is a pool but it's used for scuba and you can only get in when they aren't in there which is all the time but other than that very friendly place!

The room we got was a AC standard room. The price was decent but the service and room was not good. The location is in the middle of sairee beach, of goodman or shopping/night life and restaurants. But the room was not clean, no room service ( except a lady that gives fresh towels and water bottle so upside then roo) and the bathroom was terrible. Absolutely no water pressure in the shower and the bathroom smelled very bad. The pool was small and used by divers in the morning. And wifi was very weak. Overall I will not stay there again. For the same price or a little bit more, here are better options for me.

Man får vad man betalar för. Väldigt högljutt. Dålig städning. Poolen är mest ockuperad dagtid av dykare. Nattetid fick den tydligen inte användas.

The service was great, especially the owner/manager and they picked us up from the ferry, which was great. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is super convenient to some tourist walking streets, which makes it convenient, but there are only a few food vendors around, if you're on a budget. The hotel faces a few bars, so it was loud at times, but the double glazing of the windows really helped. The shower was OK, but skimpy on water. The main reason we booked this was because of the pool, but it turns out that the pool belongs to the nearby dive centre, so while it's free for guests to use, there's often divers in it learning.
