Sunset Beach Club

During my trip to Thailand, my stay at Sunset Beach hotel was an easy favourite. The room was a great size and the sea view from the balcony was lovely to wake up to as well as for watching the sunset in the evening. The bed was comfortable and I slept well there despite my noisy neighbours. The breakfast was simple but tasty and included a good variety of fruit and more filling food. I looked forward to eating it every morning during my stay. The staff were very friendly and there was a good atmosphere within the hotel. They were very accommodating and happy to provide their recommendations e.g for transport and laundry services. Location wise the hotel is near plenty of restaurants and about a 20minute walk to Haad Rin beach. Just be mindful that outside of the full moon party, Haad rin is a quiet area with not that much going on. The only minor negative points I would mention is the finishing within the room could be tidier, e.g there were cracks in some of the walls. I sometimes found that the floor could’ve been cleaner as you can feel bits on your feet when walking around. Lastly, for the breakfast, I believe that some parts that were in the silver trays are supposed to be hot and they were always cold so this might be something to look into. Overall, I’d recommend Sunset Beach to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant stay in Haad Rin!

I stayed here for four nights. I chose the east side of Haad rin so I was walking distance from the full moon party and I’m glad I picked this hotel, close enough to walk to the busy part but far enough to not hear a thing. I didn’t use any of the pool or food facilities as I was out and about a lot, but room was cleaned perfectly everytime I left the sign on the door. Sea view was pretty, loads of parking for people to park their scooters!

Quite and beautiful sunset on the less touristy side of Haad rin

Super Lage um auf die Full Moon Party zu gehen. An sich ist das Hotelzimmer gut ausgestattet, bequeme Betten, schöne Einrichtung. Jedoch ist das Hotel an sich vollkommen in die Jahre gekommen. Kein Wasser in den Pools, leere Gebäude (wo bestimmt mal eine Bar drinnen war oder ein Restaurant). Um die Pflege der Hotelanlage an sich wird sich keine besondere Mühe gegeben. Wie gesagt, wer auf die Full Moon Party gehen möchte, dem kann ich aufgrund der Lage dieses Hotel nur empfehlen, da man auch nachts vollkommen ruhig dort schlafen kann und man keinen Partylärm oder Ähnliches hört. Für den Familien-Urlaub ist dieses Hotel jedoch absolut nicht geeignet.

Ons verblijf zou fantastisch geweest zijn als we geweten hadden dat ze heel het complex aan het verbouwen zijn, er was geen zwembad, geen bar of restaurant, geen gym, het had iets duidelijker mogen zijn op de website dat er geen faciliteiten beschikbaar zijn op dit moment. Het personeel is wel zeer vriendelijk en locatie is perfect op wandelafstand van Haad Rin.

Vänlig personal. Stort minus att det inte var något vatten i poolen. Bra bekvämlighet med sköna sängar. Angående renligheten kändes det som att de glömde kolla grunderna, det var exempelvis en död mosad mygga på väggen (som fanns där när vi kom). Hotellet låg nära till både en lugn strand och Full moon-stranden.

Fin beliggenhet og fine rom, ingen vann i bassenget og ingen frokost slik det står i beskrivelsen.. dårlig belysning på kvelden og to av dagene ble ikke rommet vårt vasket.
