Perfect. Hard beds but great location, safe and clean

We stayed at The Mantra Hotel for 5 nights and enjoyed it from the moment we arrived. It’s locally owned and the staff were amazing, unfortunately we didn’t get the names except for John. They were always friendly and greeted you with a smile. Although it wasn’t on the beach, our walk was a quick 5 minute walk across the street and was never an issue. I loved how small and quaint the hotel was, it was compact but at the same time felt so cozy and homey…the seating areas by reception and a bar where you could sit and grab a drink. We stayed in a deluxe room with a balcony and it was so spacious and spotlessly clean. We also loved staying in Kata Noi where things were quieter and relaxed, and when we wanted a bit more lively evenings, we would do the 10-15 minute walk over to Kata for the evening life. All in all, great value for the money and we would stay here again.

Very clean and comfortable hotel! Very close to the beaches, affordable, lots to do and see around the area! No breakfast though and the shower temperature was a little inconsistent but overall a great stay!
