Amazing stay! Super clean, great service, professional staff, and an excellent buffet. Truly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Highly recommended

Mi aspettavo più confort, tipo delle ciabatte monouso, cuffie doccia dentrificio , insomma quei piccoli gadget che fanno piacere trovare al tuo arrivo. Complessivamente comunque bene.

C’est un hôtel cinq étoiles qui devait être superbe il y a 25 ans mais est assez vieillissant aujourd’hui. Cela dit il est Malgré tout correct. La nourriture est pas mal mais n’est pas trop renouvelée. Le personnel est très gentil mais nous voit comme des Américains. Sinon j’ai été très déçu du fait qu’ils disent qu’il y a une discothèque alors qu’elle est fermé j’avais choisi cet endroit pour Mon Fils car je pensais qu’il y avait des jeunes vu qu’il y avait une discothèque et ce n’était pas le cas et il s’est embêté toutes les Soiree, car il n’y avait vraiment pas de bonnes animations. Les soirées étaient vraiment très limites , il y a eu une soirée tunisienne. Franchement c’était très bas de gamme. J ai eta très déçu de ça j’ai demandé un fer à repasser, j’en ai toujours trouvé dans les cinq étoiles là, pas un seul dans tout l’hôtel, pareil j’ai demandé du faux Sucre on n’en trouve toujours dans les cinq étoiles pour les diabétiques, il n’y en avait pas non plus. Qui n’a pas de sacarine aujourd’hui dans un hôtel de cette taille En ce qui me concerne je trouve que ça ne vaut pas du tout les 5 etoiles même si c’est correct on paye très cher la semaine alors que c’est la Tunisie car la Tunisie n’est pas aussi cher que beaucoup de pays en Europe. J’ai fait l’an dernier un hôtel à Rhodes à cinq étoiles, j’ai payé moins cher et l’hôtel et les prestations étaient vraiment à la hauteur d’un cinq étoiles.

J'ai beaucoup aimé les piscines, le jardin. Les buffets sont très bons. Le personnel à la réception n'est pas toujours très agréable et ne donne pas assez d'information. Les chambres sont correctes mais un peu vieillottes.

I think you have to be mindful that 4-5 star hotel classifications really aren’t the same globally. While the hotel was mostly clean, a great variety of food and drinks… I didn’t feel like I was in a 5* environment. A few things to note… The evening entertainment starts quite late. Kids party starts 8:30 so most of them are too sleepy to enjoy. There’s not much for kids to do as in day time activities. Yes there’s a small park, local beach and kids club but it really paled in comparison to what I’ve experienced in other European destinations. The kids called me within an hour to collect them from the kids club. The sign in and out process is non existent. I just walked straight in and took the kids and the staff paid no attention. The park is really something for babies. The most exciting part for my kids who were a 6 year old girl and 7 year old boy was the heated indoor pool. They were too cold in the outside one ( we went during Easter break). Entertainment is not great for adults. We were pretty bored in the evening and spent time in the shisha Lounge which was lovely. The Italian restaurant lol. Just avoid it people most people reserve and end up leaving and going back to the buffet. I loved the food. Ignore people who complain. I’m of Afro Caribbean descent and once you add the salts and pepper everything tasks very nice. So much choice too.

This hotel deserves all 5 stars hands down. With exceptional service from all staff, delicious food and beautiful decor! The maids were brilliant and made us smile always saying hello they even went the extra mile and did quirky decorations on the bed with dressing gowns and flowers. The bar staff were so attentive and friendly even if we did not move a muscle from our lounger. The entertainment team always pleasant and made conversation not to mention their flamboyant dancing skills much to our amazement , absolutely brilliant 😃 All I ask is that the entertainment team deserve attire that matches their talent… We were made to feel special, we loved our stay ❤️

Average all round - staff were pleasant but aim is really to make more money and get you to do the excursions aside from staff in restaurant who were really nice. Pool/beach area is pretty (you have to pay extra for towel) but I would say all around that the hotel is quite dated and tired, food is fine (buffet/canteen style) but nothing to write home about. Massage wasn’t my cup of tea at all, all in all average all round. That being said Tunisia is a fab place to visit and mahdia Médina is very pretty - I’d recommend staying nearer there if mahdia is on your travel itinerary.

Everything was great

Incredible. Came late at night, they brought food to my room even tho I missed dinner. The restaurants are amazing, best ingredients quality I tried in Tunisia, many traditional dishes such as mloukhiya and Tunisian fish pasta. Bravo to the security team as well. I will surely come back again in the future.

The pool area is stunning, with plenty of sunbeds and a lively atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The beach, just a few steps away, is pristine and offers a serene setting to unwind. The all-inclusive dining was a highlight – a wide variety of delicious dishes, catering to all tastes, with fresh local ingredients and an international flair. What truly stood out to me was the level of service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect. Whether it was recommendations for activities, special requests at meals, or just a friendly chat, they made me feel valued and cared for throughout my stay. I highly recommend the Iberostar Hotel in Mahdia to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. I will definitely be returning for another stay!
