Everything was excellent arranged

Great hotel and location perfect if you want to be in the Sultanahmet/old city area. Walking distance to all the major sites. Staff was professional, extremely friendly and the service was top notch. Great rooftop view of the Bosphorus Stait. I highly recommend Demiray Hotel.

Struttura completamente ristrutturata di recente , camere molto belle, pulizia ottima, personale gentilissimo un po scomoda per arrivarci, tutto sommato ottimo hotel

Ottimo per l’ubicazione ha però alcune pecche. La colazione non è una colazione da hotel a 5 stelle. La piscina ha solo tre sedie. Doveva esserci una SPA ma non ci è stata mostrata la sauna (ma sui trattamenti a pagamento viene contemplata). La cosa peggiore è la pulizia che lascia davvero a desiderare. Il personale è comunque gentile.

Best hotel

We stayed at Demiray Hotel for 4 nights with family and really enjoyed it. The breakfast had great variety and the restaurant view was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and polite throughout our stay. We used the spa for a massage and sauna, which was relaxing, and also visited the swimming pool a couple of times. The location is ideal for Sultanahmet and Eminönü, though after the Grand Bazaar closes it’s a slightly longer walk back. Overall, a great and comfortable stay! Would definitely recommend😊 and would be nice to go back if we have a chance 😊

ottima posizione per visitare a piedi tutte le principali attrazioni turistiche. terrazza per la colazione con vista impagabile. Colazione abbondante e buona. Personale efficiente e gentile. Camere seppur nuove fredde con bagno da rivedere per mancanza di appoggi.

I wouldn't call this a 5* hotel it's far from it (I have stay in 5* in UK and France this doesn't even compare) however I would say they have very friendly and attentive staff on site. The decor in some areas was a bit rough around the edges when you took a closer look. The breakfast was excellent and plenty options on the huge continental buffet. Just what we needed for busy site seeing. We did have issues with our room. We had an economy double which had no external facing windows. The room was often hot and stuffy and this was in March. The AC in the room kept turning off and blowing warm air back into the room which made for a couple unbearable nights even when we turned it off the room just seem to get hot. We reported this on numerous occasions and the AC was turned back on but it kept getting turned off. If we had a window, we could have opened this for fresh air. The SPA is a nice addition. We used on a couple occasions do be warned that for some reason they insist on caps to use the pool. Luckily we read previous reviews and picked some up before we arrived. The location is ok for the old town and great location for the markets and shops but we found limited options nearby for food in the evenings, we did try the hotel restaurant but found the food to be poor vs the price. I have given them 4-star review because this is a good 4 star hotel in my opinion, although we had issues they were responsive and helpful. I would avoid the economy rooms if possible

This is a nice 4-star hotel, but definitely not a 5-star like how it is rated. They said the Turkish government gave them 5 stars so clearly Turkish standards are much lower. Expedia needs to be transparent about who rates the properties for stars. The staff were friendly. The place was clean. Bathrooms seem to be newly renovated. Breakfast was ok but definitely not 5-star. There was an abandoned building missing windows that was our view from our room.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The downside was the area transportation was hard to get but we managed.

The hotel is really nice. Close to all the shopping and the heart of Istanbul. The staff is there to help. Would be back again

The Demiray is located walking distance to many Old Town sites. The staff are friendly and attentive. The upstairs cafe for breakfast is excellent and the view is incredible. Highly recommend staying here!

Thecates is close to blue mosque but the bathroom inmy roo wasl eaking wster and was not repsired fo4 days thst Ivstayed in the hotel. It should be repaired.
