ok place for the price only complain no direct access to beach as the ad describes. headache to check in

It was a great spot and we felt like we had the pool to ourselves the entire week. The lock to our room broke (locking us inside) and I called the number that I was given at checkin and a person was at our door within 10 minutes.

Nice property with a swimming pool, clean small suite, very effective AC, good kitchen, quality queen size bed, large parking, not expensive stay. But we dealt with broken safe, poor door lock, partially broken beach umbrella, noise from guests and workers. Remote check-in location, beach, city and restaurants accessible by a car.

Air conditioning was affected. The Eastgate could’ve been lit up a little bit more other than that great value will definitely stay there again with their rest of our family. Just get a rental car, but if you’d like to walk, you can walk right down to ocean club resort resorts they have a store there which is not that expensive to pick up ice snack snacks beer, water, and soda

Great little place. Just know It’s similar to a hotel room with a kitchenette (no living room or sitting area.) This property was perfect for my daughter and I. We didn’t cook in the condo other than simple breakfasts, which the kitchen was very well equipped to handle (two burner cooktop, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc.) and we didn’t need a living room as we were at the beach and doing activities all day, plus there’s a small table with two chairs on the front patio to sit and enjoy your coffee. Loved the location - it felt removed from the touristy hubbub but was still conveniently located between the hectic Grace Bay resort strip and the beautiful Leeward beach (less than a 5 minute drive). They also provided shampoo and soaps, linens and periodic maid service- which was a surprise. Staff was very friendly too. Only thing I didn’t like is that we had to keep our drapes shut for privacy due to the first floor location. This was such a good value for the money. In fact, we used the money we saved on lodgings to do amazing excursions (including flying to Salt Cay for whale watching - a must do adventure!)

We enjoyed our stay at Checkers. The pool area was very clean and the pool was perfect for a lap or 2! The room was perfect for 2 people and clean! The office staff were a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this property to friends and

It is a gated apartment complex. A couple of family living there. The picture you see is for a 5 bedroom unit. not for use unless you rent that unit. The beach is a long walk, 20 minuetes through an abanded property that is for ATV use and also a local dumping ground for junk. Rooms are clean, gas grill out back was a plus. Beach chairs and cooler were great for beach trips. Construction still going on 6 days a week on the property.

Room was clean. Beach was close but not as close as we thought if walking. Two nights someone tried to get in our room.????

Yes and yes, the room was cleaned atmosphere was great except for the construction that was a little noisy. Overall it was a great experience

Communication with property was excellent and an easy check -in . There was a fully equipped kitchen - stove top, toaster oven , microwave, coffee machine, toaster and blender , very clean and everything was in good condition . A/C was very good . The added bonus was having beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler . The beach nearby was walkable and very quiet . we enjoyed our stay .

I had a hard time finding reviews of this place and the 7.8 rating on Hotels.com had me a bit concerned, but I read the terms carefully and decided to go for it. We were not disappointed. We are on a bit of a budget, so the all inclusive resorts were not an option. It was me and my wife for a five night stay. We’re in our early 50s, and the kids are old enough we can start to venture out again on our own. Anyway, you definitely want a rental car. This property is not beachfront but very close to them and the action along Grace Bay Beach. We hit five different beaches each day and one was unique unto itself (Grace Bay, Leeward, Bight Park, Sopadila, and Taylor Beach). The kitchen is great and stocked (pans, glasses, plates, utensils, toaster, coffee pot, etc) with dishes so you can save some money by eating in, although we honestly didn’t except for breakfast bagels. The two beach chairs, beach umbrella and rolling cooler provided were great. Bed was very comfy and the AC worked great. Shower curtain was not the right size so the bathroom would flood if you aren’t careful, but whatever, first-world problems, right? They had workers on site everyday constantly making improvements, filing potholes and laying tiles, etc. The pool was nice, but cold, but it was January. I think people live in some of the units so it is not exclusively a hotel, but also a residence. Overall, a 9 out of 10. Just read the terms and understand them, and if you are okay with them, you will love it.

We enjoyed our stay. Anyone staying here for few days, please check your emails for directions. Remember that you have to go get the key from 34 old airport road BEFORE going to Checkers. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay. Room was clean.

We were stucke at the key pick-up The Lodging hotel for 30 min just because they had problem with the receipts printing machine. The staff should let us go and deal with their problem afterwards.

I loved the homey feel, with the fully equipped kitchen and AC. Quiet place

Didnt let me check in because ther debit machine was broken and left me stranded do not stay here, horrible service
