ミレンベ リゾート ビーチ ホテル

I stayed 2 nights in a Mirembe cottage- my friend had the cottage next door and we had a dedicated outside eating area, from where we were served our food.We were served by James who was consistently courteous and efficient .We felt like film stars on a tropical island as we ate delicious food sitting by the lake watching a wide variety of birds - it was just such a treat!

Well where to start? Let’s start with the good things. Is a beautifully located, peaceful resort. The rooms are spacious and well tended and staff are very friendly. Also I’d heartily recommend the fired Tilapia for dinner. But there are downsides. Big downsides. The resort is run down and little effort is made beyond the rooms. Cheap plastic chairs, pealing dirty bench’s, metal loungers without cushions and bizarre seats around the fire (which is almost never set). The restaurant is dreadful with a wood board and plastic nets preventing views whilst you sit on nasty seats against plastic covered trestle tables.. There might be quads and water activities but you’ll never know. They’re not advertised anywhere and it’s completely unclear what (if anything) the resort offers outside of a very sad tennis net. Also be prepared to be woken at 05:00am every morning as the power is cut at 12:00 then switched on again with a loud click and any lights or electronics you had on waking up. So good luck sleeping with fan if it’s hot. Oh and you’ll need to ask for the room to be cleaned and give the maid the key. Which brings us on to the restaurant. The strangest arrangement I have ever come across. Don’t except to have a nice lay in after you’ve been woken at 05:00am because… the restaurant will phone you at 08-08:30 to tell you either that breakfast is ready or you’re the last person who hasn’t had breakfast (which allegedly doesn’t finish unti 10:00)

Nice place on lake. The surrounding is great. Nature walk is very good there.

Das Hotel liegt wunderbar an einem Strand, an welchem man super entspannen kann und sein Essen genießen kann. Man hat die Möglichkeit über das Hotel unterschiedliche Unternehmungen zu machen. Die Unterkunft ist schön und bequem.

Ein sehr gutes Hotel auf den Ssese Islands, direkt am Victoriasee gelegen. Das Hotel bietet alles was man braucht und was das Hotel nicht, das braucht man auch nicht. Hier läßt es sich wunderbar entspannen und entschleunigen. Eine Oase der Ruhe. Das Hotelteam ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist gut. Das Mirembe Beach Resort Hotel kann man bedenkenlos empfehlen.
