I called the front desk because I couldn't figure out the coffee maker, the attendant was frustrated, said he'd send an engineer and hung up on me. I called back, he yelled, "I didn't hang up on you" and then hung up again.
The restaurant service is very slow.
The rooms are nice and well styled. Its close to the subway but you do not hear the trains. There are a tin of great shopping and restaurants within a few bolocks -- walkable.

Nice hotel. We had to stay after our flight was cancelled. I did not like that they charge a destination fee of $26… it’s only a destination because you arrive there. We did appreciate all of the modern, upgraded features (door bell, electronic do not disturb). I would go back just to sleep in the bed; it was amazingly comfortable. I loved the landline phone on the wall.

Great room, very clean, but there wasn’t enough space to keep our luggage for three people. Otherwise, I had a lovely stay. they even provided a welcome wine bottle, which is very thoughtful.

Really nice rooms in a nice part of South Williamsburg. Concierge was super friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is spotless.

Always stay here when I come to nyc. The hotel is not too far from anything ( depending on traffic ). Lots of food places nearby at walking distance . The hotel is super nice inside and the front desk was very friendly. I slept very well. I highly recommend this hotel

If the word “meh” was a hotel. Not convenient to anything, no restaurants or bars close, rooms just ok, front desk didn’t understand when I told them our AC wasn’t working. No mention of VIP or upgrade at check in. It was mediocre at best.

I don’t know what the beef is with this property. This hotel is an exceptional value. Slippers robes free bottle of wine in room. I haven’t had the breakfast yet but I get free breakfast from the Black Bird restaurant. Oh and free parking for guests. I mean when is the last time a hotel in the city gave you free parking?? Book it. You won’t regret it. (PS Maybe the people who post bad reviews just aren’t used to staying in a big city)
