A quick down south for a wedding in Fallbrook and a visit to a fun tiki bar down the street from the Always Inn. Freida is a lovely host and gave us wonderful advice about the local restaurants and some of her own food! Breakfast was stellar. Be prepared to hear some amazing stories about Freida’s life.

I have never imagined that I would spend such a long days at the same B&B before I came here. But I feel like I am at my home during my stay here. The owner, Freda is such a nice and sweet lady. She kindly became my tour guide and took me to many attractions every day because I am a solo traveler and I cannot drive here. She is very familiar with local attractions, great restaurants and nice stores. Her cooking is just amazing. Each rooms are beautifully decorated with their own theme. She always makes effort to make every guests feel comfortable. I definitely recommend this B&B to everybody.

Freida is the kindest, and the most accommodating person whom I have ever met at any hotel or B&B.
She is like a everybody's mother or a sister.
The rooms are decorated with lovely furniture and mirrors which is surrounded with beautiful shells. The breakfast which is created with her experience at south of France is wonderful!!
There is a beautiful patio and yards which is full of pretty flowers, trees and lovely decorations.
There are many nice stores, great restaurants and beautiful beaches are within walking distance.
This is the best place for solo traveller or a couple who needs a peaceful and unforgettable experience.

Freda was the most excellent host. My room was clean and very quiet. I loved the small patio outside my door to sit and have breakfast. Her Sunday breakfast was to die for. Perfect location to walk around to shops and restaurants. I will definitely be coming back to stay here.

I booked a stay for two nights in this amazing space earlier this month. Freda, the owner, was warm, welcoming, and an amazing cook to boot. She reached out right away once I booked to check in about special dietary needs or other things we might need during our stay. Though we were only there for a brief time, she treated us like family. Her food and stories were wonderful. She does so much for her community as well. The space is charming, clean, and quiet and centrally located to amazing dining areas. This will definitely not be the last time we spend time at the Always Inn! Thank you for everything, Freda!

We loved our stay at the Always Inn B & B. It was exactly as it is, a bed and breakfast. Very intimate and cozy. Felt like our second home. The location is also amazing and within walking distance to everything. We will definitely be returning here for our next stay in San Clemente.

Freda was an amazing host. I’ve never stayed at a place so warm and welcoming. We weren’t expecting a gourmet breakfast but that’s what we received. The room was nice and cozy and we enjoyed the connecting patio. If you want to know where to go, eat, hang out etc Freda’s suggestions were all a hit. It was incredibly kind, she had car trouble that day and asked her friend to help get us. We really appreciated it. We were well fed, and very well informed about San Clemente and what to do. Freda!
She is the intangible that makes Always Inn work. Her check-in process allows for last minute changes. While our room was ready when promised, we wanted to get out of our car earlier. She made it doable.
The breakfast was outstanding!
When we return, we will stop at Trader Joe’s first. $20 for cheese and crackers at the local store. Too much.

It’s wonderful home away from home experience! The host welcomed us, gave a tour of the house and cooked wonderful breakfast each morning. She also gave us very helpful suggestions/recommendations to do around San Clemente. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the artwork on the wall especially. We enjoyed staying at the B&B and definitely will stay again!
