観光に便利な立地でレストランやお土産ショップにも近く、徒歩でジュノーの街を巡れます。施設の設備が古くなってきている中、宿泊した部屋は2階で窓を開けると、古い施設が目の前にあり、残念でした。

The property is well located, close to shops, restaurants, bars. However, rooms are small and feel stuffy. The hotel is est. in 1938 and probably still got the same design, which is not a bad thing when restored properly or kept clean. Central heating is on all the time, we had to keep the window opened and install a window fan to cool it down. The bar does not stay opened late. The restaurant at the hotel is opened only for breakfast.

Prime location in downtown Juneau. Easy walk to shops, harbor, state capital, etc. Hotel is a bit dated but clean. For a “signature” hotel would have liked nicer towels.

We had a pleasant stay in this hotel, walking distance to main attractions. Small bathroom that smelled damp.

Bed was fine, but the building is old and run down. The room was extremely hot and, after talking to a local resident, it seems that this is normal - it’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. There doesn’t seem to be good temperature regulation. Service was fine and they were friendly enough as a whole.

Very welcoming staff, very clean hotel.

Great stay at the Baranof. Staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good, though not included. You choose between menu, which is good and buffet, which is so-so.

Older building, great location. Rooms small but comfortable. Elevators very small and extremely cramped. Staff very friendly.

The room I got- which was one queen bed -was very small maybe comfortable for two adults. The location is good, the port and downtown shops are at a walkable distance.

It was fine - clean and good service. Decent restaurant. A bit dated, but no big deal - it met our needs.

Several great restaurants and eateries are within walking distance. Very easy to access the main road.

It was at the end of the downtown area so quite convenient

A faded landmark in need of serious renovation, this was one of the loudest and most uncomfortably warm hotels I have ever experienced. Maintaining a bearable room temperature required opening the window, letting in constant street noise from late night rabble rousers to pre-dawn street cleaners and trash pickups. Banging radiator pipes woke us multiple times. In most other cities, this would be considered a low end property with its dated furnishings and finishes. Did not dine in-house, but noticed extremely high prices for breakfast etc.

Lazy staff. A lot of small broken items in the room but over all was clean.

This property is really run down and could greatly benefit from a renovation or room refresh. The rooms are stuffy and warm, mattresses are worn down, and the black our curtains do t fully close, making sleeping in 18 days of daylight challenging. The highlight of this property is Kelli the concierge. She was friendly, informed, and honest about which excursions would be best for us. Kelli was wonderful, while the property beyond her was underwhelming,

The food was excellent in the restaurant. Could have used coffee on the lounging area. It was empty more than full when I wanted some.
