Baymont by Wyndham St. Charles

Sign on the door they had been closed down. No warning. No where to stay

This property was closed by the city of St. Louis due to being unfit for human inhabitants. I did not get any sort of notification of this, until I tried to check in after my concert that I was in town for. Now Expedia is giving me the run around to get a refund because the hotel wouldn’t answer the phone when they tried to call— but the hotel is legitimately closed so of course they will not answer.

Needs a refurbishment

The hotel was under construction, the outside of the property looked run down and unkept and our room had a mildew smell. The only savings grace was the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This hotel was not presented in the best light. Furniture was old and tattered. The breakfast was a lot of carbs. I went to breakfast all five days, and there was only mystery meat and sausage left on one of those days - no bacon.

The door peephole was broken and had toilet paper stuck in it. The tub floor was dirty and stained. Kleenex box had two tissues in it. There was a dark footprint on the sheet. Paint coming off the walls.

The property worked great for an over night stay to attend an event at the Family Center.

I have stayed there before was good The window leaked a little and the lady at desk was willing to move me but said we already unpacked. So it was ok. Very pleasant help

Our first room had the bathroom light laying in the sink. Our second room had a major leak on the inside of the window the night it rained. Water was everywhere.

Quiet stay. Little trouble checking in. They did not have rooms ready at 4pm

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I will stay at this hotel again.

Every employee I came across was very friendly. Good experience!

Staff was extremely helpful. location is still going on with construction, so some minor things. Room was overall clean, few minor problems in the bathroom, like chipping wallpaper, missing body wash dispensers.

I needed an affordable hotel while I attended a nearby conference. The bed was very comfortable, but the property did need some upkeep. For example, the bathtub drained very slowly. While the free breakfast was good, the seating in the breakfast area was very worn. Given all this, the price was right, the location was perfect, I slept well, and I felt safe, so I would probably stay here again.

Some of the property was under construction, so there were plastic sheets up at the ends of the halls and around other areas. It is a little hard to get to the hotel as well.

I was thrilled with this location. The staff were very friendly. The facility was very clean. The breakfast was great. Will come back.
