I like that this property is large and full service near the college. It makes it a special treat to visit my Cal student. I did notice this time that we had no glasses in the room and our shower light was out. The hotel was so busy they even ran out of clean towels at the pool. With all that it is still an amazing place with a great spa.

We recently checked into our room and found the service to be commendable. However, upon arrival, we encountered a few issues that raised some concerns. Firstly, there was a cockroach in the restroom, which was unexpected. Additionally, we noticed some wet towels left on the ground, and the shower had a slight leak. Moreover, the bedsheets felt damp, suggesting they may not have dried completely. On a positive note, the room itself was beautifully decorated, and the amenities were quite lovely. Despite these challenges, I am looking forward to the opportunity to stay there again in the future and trust that these matters will be addressed.

The property is completely out of compliance with ADA requirements and should be reported to the Office of Civil Rights. I stayed at the Claremont a couple of months ago because it was convenient to the workshop I planned to attend. I missed it do to barriers in the property such as locked handicap odors or doors that were too heavy to open. I missed the workshop. This time I supposed to have lunch with my family. I went to get a shirt hot tub before leaving but there was no handicap parking at the spa as there was gravel parked there. I had to park far away. I missed lunch with my family who live 3 hours away. I will never stay at the Claremont again! I did inform management both times.

Pro: Old facility but very well kept. Spacious room. New bathroom very impressive. Quiet environment and nice staff.
Con: Climate control overshoots and noisy. Pillow toooo soft. Both of these affected our sleep.

Beautiful location with great views of San Francisco and the Bay. Good parking options on a spacious property. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish we could have opened our window instead of using the air conditioning and the noise from the room above us was quite loud which continued till past midnight.

I love going to the Claremont only wish I had more time to use the services.
I’m kind of wish there was some lawn area for the dogs that was on a flat surface. I love that your rate for the dog is reasonable as I had to babysit my son‘s dog for just the night.
Next time I will enjoy a spa treatment and a tennis game! Love the gym and spa.

Our stay at the Claremont was excellent. The front desk staff was extremely kind and welcoming and allowed us to check-in early when our room was ready. We enjoyed a delightful lunch by the pool, then a fun game of pickleball. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. From the time we arrived, to the moment we left, every staff person we encountered was over the top helpful and friendly. I wish we could have stayed longer.
