Staff was so kind! the place was clean, we had to leave early both mornings and I was so glad the staff had the breakfast ready early and they let us eat. I thought everyone did great

All was amazing except I had to run the water very, very long time before it got warm. Never had hot water. Both morning and night.

Stayed here on the way home from visiting my girlfriend sister in Denver. Perfect place to stop. Very good service in and out easy and lots of stuff to do around there favorite Des Moines hotel.

We have stayed here several times for events at the arena and event center. It is super convenient to be able to walk the short distance to both of those locations. Hotel is clean, check in staff was very pleasant and rooms are clean and comfortable

This hotel is super convenient if you're attending an event at Wells Fargo Arena or going anywhere in downtown Des Moines. Another perk is the free parking. The hotel itself is rather rundown and likely in need of some renovations. That being said, our room was comfortable and check in and check out were very quick. Our room was mostly clean - just underneath the chairs seemed like hadn't seen a vacuum for a time. I was a little surprised that the Sunday breakfast didn't go later than 9:30, and the staff literally hauled everything away at 9:30 on the dot (I snagged a bagel as they were loading things up!), so just know that in advance if you're wanting breakfast. Overall, though, the location was what was most important for me and this hotel fit the bill.

Didn’t use the shower because the water took forever to drain.

We enjoyed our stay. Only comment is walls very thin. Could hear talking in next room all night. Also toilets are way too low!

Was clean. Very old and kinda rough looking. Close to area and that was the goal.

This hotel is located across from Mercy One and adjacent to Wells Fargo Arena. First impressions were that it’s a well kept, nice hotel! Front desk staff were welcoming with a quick check in. The room was also clean with a desk, chair/ottoman, and TV, toiletries in bathroom. The bed was not very comfortable, I tossed and turner on this mattress, however the linens and pillows were great. The BF area was staffed and had the standards available: scrambled and hard boiled eggs, waffles, sausage, bagels, toast and muffins, fresh fruit and yogurt as well as juice and coffee. I would stay here again, but the bed was really an issue for me.

I used to be a regular visitor to this property when it was under a different brand. It had been six years since I was last at this hotel, and the upgrades and remodeling were very nice. Staff is very friendly, as usual.
