Courtyard by Marriott Houston Westchase

Everything is so convenient and close by the staff was great and helpful

No one was to be found when I arrived and another group waiting to check in informed me that their check in system was down. Once someone finally came back to the front desk, I inquired about how long something like this typically takes and they had no answer. My son and I waited almost an hour and a half to check into our room. When we received a room key, we went up the the second floor to the assigned room and noticed a bag of trash sitting next to the door. I tried the key and handle several times and the sensor kept flashing red. My son and I trekked back to the front desk to ask them to reset the key and the gentleman who helped us seemed very inconvenienced. We were assigned to a different room where a giant cockroach on the ceiling greeted us. Otherwise, the room was decently clean and the pool was nice. Besides the evening staff, everyone else over the next two days was very kind and helpful.

Was not told about additional charges room wasn’t that clean parking lot was trashy this property didn’t reflect the Marriott brand my deposit wasn’t returned

Staff were nice but the room was not clean, big cockroach in the rest room and kids got scared

Definitely not what you expect from Marriott hotel line. Restrooms and rooms are outdated with cracks on walls

The picture on line doesn’t match what you. They didn’t replace the towels for each day.

The stay is ok. What really sucks is that courtyard charged me credit card, although I already used hotel reward cash to pay for the stay.

Real nice facility

We got back to our room and apparently the fire alarm had gone off in the hotel. I called the front desk, she put me on hold, so I waited and she never picked the phone back up. I called back she hing up on me, I called back again, and stated to her that I was in my room and the fire alarm was beeping every 30 seconds, she stated that the fire alarm had a mechanical error, so the alarm company would have to come out in the morning. She the. Stated that the hotel was completely full, so she could comp my stay if I wanted to go find a new room for the night, this was at 1:00 am

Did not like the parking lot fee.

Room needed repairs ceiling peeling texture and wallpaper coming unglued and rest Room shower curtain rod broken

Initial reception could have been warmer.

Directions to get there was a bit . Friendly staff, Very clean hotel room, beds weren't too bad. Gated parking which was very good $6 per night. Will be booking again in the near future.

It is a ok place to stay one night. It is 7 usd to park your car and the property is decent.

Always great, friendly staff, like home. Great lobby, clean everywhere, nice cafe and wow private little tables with a private tv to eat by in the lobby.

So outdated and the worst sleep I ever got at a hotel. The pillows were too soft, the room smelled like an old damp place and everything needed to get renovated. Peeling walls, dirty curtains and shower. The staff was friendly enough but this place is way due for an upgrade to be Marriott. I won’t stay here again.
