very clean

Very friendly staff! Very clean and modern!

Great location, with ample parking in their lot across the street. Only downside is the proximity to rail line, with regular trains passing through (not the hotel’s fault!), which did interrupt sleep a few times in the night.

Feels like home There is a real sense of care here, and that makes This is a lovely place…clean, comfortable, and full of kind people. Every staff member I met was warm, helpful, and always smiling. Ron Dino and Teresa, GREAT JOB!! Big thanks to the entire staff for creating such a welcoming atmosphere. The location is also convenient and peaceful, making it a great spot to recharge. I’d gladly stay here again. a big difference. It didn’t just feel like a hotel—it felt like home.

The valet situation was terrible & there was no charging stations available

Liked the staff, but hotel is aging not well kept. Upon ck in we inquired about disability parking and giving details that are amenable. However we were placed in a disabled room without asking or notified, that happened to be down a long hallway. If asked we would have decline because my husband has severe back issues that effect his walking distances and is scheduled for surgery. He had to stop at least once each trip to the elevators. Since this was a two night trip, we powered through. But it would have been nice for Check in not to have assumed, since we did not request this.

Great accommodations, clean rooms, staff were fantastic.

Tub had hair in it, one beds top cover had black marks on it, tub had been pained and was peeling, lots of events there so lobby is packet with people, parking is a nightmare due to this

Good stay

The booking process was easy and everything went right. From the check in to the check out this hotel was a fabulous experience. Our waiter, Ron, at the hotel restaurant was so professional and fun for two weary travelers. The Doubletree cookies were delicious!! What a great place to be on Easter Sunday. It was happening!!!

Really kind service

Property was nice. There’s a train that comes by and the horn went off at 10 pm and 6am pretty loud. Then the rooms AC had a rattling sound and then one of the elevators was ringing nonstop. Finally it got fixed. Also when we arrived the parking lot was packed and no one could move there car as thsomeone left there car blocking the turn in to check at the front to check in. Turns out the valet had the keys and although saw all the cars decided to not move it until we said something and then he says there’s no parking in valet so we need to park somewhere else?! People were trying to check in- poorly managed as he proceeds to say he is the manager

Noisy, uncomfortable, and the breakfast vouchers were organized poorly.

The location was perfect to attend an event at the Gallo. Had fun walking around downtown Modesto, looking at meals, etc. and there was some good eats. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. It was a good breakfast, but I was under the impression I got a free breakfast because that’s what my reservation said and I did not so beware of that. Otherwise I will return.
