My sister-in-law and I were on a girls' trip to Savannah and chose the East Bay Inn for its uniqueness and proximity to the River Street amenities. We were not disappointed! The Inn is charming, the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the location perfect for exploring the riverfront on foot. There is an on-site restaurant for breakfast and lunch, an on-site bar for that preprandial glass of wine, and any number of interesting restaurants within walking distance. For a one-of-a-kind stay, I can highly recommend this Historic Inn!

This hotel was amazing! We come to Savannah frequently and like to try different places to stay. This one did not disappoint! Staff were super friendly and very hospitable, hotel is beautiful and our room was grand and comfortable. Stay on the 3rd floor if you can. Location is perfect to walk to everything in the historic district. Park your car at no charge and walk everywhere. Connecting bar has great Espresso Martini’s. Will definitely be back!

This is our go to spot. Rich with history and a great location. Wonderful breakfast spot in the basement, Deb's. Tandem bar attached with a free glass of wine or beer each night. Bartenders leave a bit to be desired but dont let them stop you from getting your nighly libation. Otherwise, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Not a place to stay if you are interested in quiet. Bay Street is a 4 lane street and traffic was steady til way past midnight and started up again around 6:00 am. We could hear people in the room above us due to the wood floors. You could hear voices of people walking past the front and side of the building. Lastly, the ice machine was right outside our room. Need I say more. I guess that is why we were greeted with earplugs on our nightstand when we got to our room. In summary, I would not stay here again.

This hotel was amazing! We come to Savannah frequently and like to try different places to stay. This one did not disappoint! Staff were super friendly and very hospitable, hotel is beautiful and our room was grand and comfortable. Stay on the 3rd floor if you can. What a gem! With beautiful decor and soaring ceilings, the hotel is a beautiful surprise. It’s also very clean and bed is comfy. Our check in could not have been easier. He was lovely, friendly and helpful. This hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants, the river, parks etc. Will definitely come back.

Lovely historic hotel with nice bar. Great location. Very welcoming and helpful man at check in. Person at check out was not. The contrast was startling. The room was spacious and lovely with a great shower.

Beautiful historic inn if you’re looking to add a little culture and historical flair to your Savannah trip. My daughter and I were only here for one night as we passed through Georgia on a sightseeing road trip and it was convenient. Walkable to a lot of restaurants along the river and to most of downtown. Parking was easy, right around the corner. Staff was pleasant and allowed us a slightly later checkout. The room was absolutely stunning - full of antiques and character plus 25’ ceilings. Wow! Recommend.
