It was in prime location for what I needed as far as the La Fitness and Chipotle near by. The hotel rooms themselves were actually pretty good and spacious. My only issues were cleanliness of appliances and and some furniture in the room.

Furniture looked like it was from a yard sale. Large bubble in shower from water damage. Site said free breakfast which was just a small coffee bar and granola bar.

Pretty much what you pay for. Nothing special. No coffee maker, hair dryer, etc. I will be taking these off my list.

Property is old and showing it's age.

Some of the front desk people were friendly. To many people hanging around outside the hotel.

Fairness

I am 74 years old and extended my stay. She said I paid for the same day twice when I extended it. I ask if they would give me an extra day or do I get the money back? She said she talked to a supervisor, which was a week ago and no one is getting back to me. My day ended today went by all rights it should’ve been. Sunday or give me my money back for one day.

Dirty floors in room and hall way, Dirty lamp shade, Asked for a coffee pot was given a glass pot that didn’t fit the actual coffee machine. Will never stay there again.

I wish it didn’t smell like weed in spots at the place. Desk attendant was nice.

Had to wait for a room because housekeeping was behind help didn’t show for work. And the housekeeper that was there was complaining in front of guest by the front desk. Our room wasn’t available that we reserved so they upgraded us to a different room. The hallway’s need to be cleaned and the place smells like weed.

It was an okay place to stay. Room wasn’t the cleanest and our door was open when we first got to our room.

Poor hospitality

Check in staff rambled instructions and directions while giving no eye contact and acting as though we were disrupting her day.

Room was spacious and the staff was nice

We were given a room that was open. The bed was not made and there was poop in the toilet. We asked for another room after the front desk girl claimed it had been cleaned and tried to argue about it. Also the one elevator felt like it was falling apart every time we had to use it. “Breakfast” was some granola bars and muffins.

We stayed at Extended Stay America Suites Cleveland Brooklyn, Ohio June 17th and 18th. We booked through Expedia itinerary: 72063178900156. Reservation number 4075289744. We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a dimly lit entrance, people smoking pot, and many people milling around the property. Needless to say, my wife and I were a bit concerned. As we stepped inside the building, we noticed a foul smell of mildew and old carpet. We were greeted inside by an unfriendly attendant. We were given room 221. As we entered the smelly elevator, we noticed food wrappers and other stuff on the floor. My wife refused to use the elevator for the remainder of our stay. We shrugged and said to each other "it's late, maybe it will get better." It didn't. As we entered room 221, the door was ajar, like someone forgot to close it on the way out. The floor in room 221 was sticky with some substance that made our feet/shoes stick to the floor, the room had a foul smell, and was only superficially cleaned. We asked for another room and were given one without question. We were reassigned to room 402. Although this room was OK, all countertops were not fully cleaned. We slept in room 402 the night of June 17th. The next night, June 18th we attended my 50th High School Reunion. The night of June 18th when we returned from our outing, staff were in an argument, dropping F bombs and cursing at each other very vociferously. We avoided the lobby and took the stairs. Room 323 was very dirty! Floor was dusty and sticky. Dust and dirt behind door. The lamps had fluffy dust on top of them. Hair on pillow inside and outside the pillow case. We asked the front desk person for another pillow and were told that they don’t have any clean pillows and offered only new pillow case. Door handles sticky and greasy. This was the dirtiest hotel that I have ever seen. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work and our room was very humid and smelled moldy. Breakfast was limited to 2 coffee pots and instant oatmeal. Front desk person was on the phone for 12 minutes without making eye contact or any acknowledgment that we arrived. I made reservation for 2 rooms with 2 beds. 20 minutes before our arrival, I received a phone call from the hotel that the second room is not available, and we had to switch to one king size bag. This was very inconvenient. This is a second time we had such a bad experience at the Extended Stay. I will not stay at this hotel or any other Extended Stay facilities again and would not recommend this to anyone, especially families with children.

What counts the most is that it's clean. Rooms are spacious. At a fair price

This was not a good trip for my family this go round. There was no hot water in the shower and the base boards were missing around the wall. Had to move rooms. I make reservations at this establishment often. Not pleased this time.
