The lady at the reception desk was so unfriendly and gave us a dark and damp, no- bathtub room at the ground foor. We immediately requested her to change the room, but she flatly declined our request, saying this room was given according to a contract with Expedia. We couldn't believe such a room was prepared at the rate fixed with Expedia !!

Most everything was great. The check in and check out was great, they were friendly and helpful. The room, pool, and spa were clean. The only issue we had was the guy who was working in the breakfast area was really rude and obviously has anger management issues. He was cursing under his breath but I could hear him be a plate was left out and he was very aggressively asking people where a pair of tongs went and when no one knew he became more angry. They should tell him that doesn’t make guests feel comfortable and if he is having a bad day he should stay home.

It was a quick trip but the hotel was very nice. Sorry I didn’t get to try the complimentary breakfast!!

Nice property. Clean rooms. The sea lions on the docks made the trip though. The desk offered earplugs because apparently they bark all night. Our room was not facing the dock, so it didn’t bother us. We had fun going outside to watch them

Room was large and spacious and had a balcony overlooking the river. The riverfront trolley runs by the hotel but has limited hours. Very nice hotel, breakfast was OK Many sea lions in the harbor outside

I couldn’t believe how unfriendly the staff was. When we first checked in, the person at the front desk didn’t even say hello or welcome -nothing…. He simply asked my “name” and was not friendly for being the front face of the hotel. He acted bothered that I was even there and had interrupted him on his cell. He told me I couldn’t check in for another 30 minutes, no biggie as we were early. So we decided to load our luggage onto a cart, but we couldn’t find any luggage carts. So, my husband went back inside to ask but no one was at the front desk. So he said “Hello” and finally the guy walked over and told him he was on his break. Apparently they don’t have coverage during breaks. Then, the guy who prepares food - wowzers!!! He was incredibly rude. There was a sign to use the utensils, so I grabbed a paper plate and a clean plastic fork utensil. I started to put some potatoes on my plate when suddenly a man loudly says to me “ma’am you need to use the metal utensils” and I said “oops, I didn’t see those” and added “yes of course”. The other guests seen how uncomfortable and embarrassing this was with the way he spoke to me. He then sighed loudly and went to the back. Then he came out again and kept sighing and was very angry looking as he walked around. He kicked the tall chairs in at a table next to ours, to move them underneath the table vs pushing them in. He obviously hates his job and hates people. We will never go back to this place!

Did not have recycle bins or a water bottle refill station.

I was shocked that for the extremely high price of the hotel that there were garbage cans overflowing both outside at the entrance and inside where the ice machines were that were not emptied the entire weekend. The hotel is not the best location of town but trolley stop was convenient. Luckily we were on the parking lot side of the hotel because the water side people complained about the noise of the sea lions. The front desk staff, housekeeping and gentleman helping with the breakfast were all excellent and provided the best customer service though!

Friendly staff and descent breakfast!

The property itself was great- great location- nice balcony off the room. Front desk staff was just uninterested- not rude-but really bothered that people were there. They never checked my ID when I checked in- I believe I got a couple of eye rolls.
