ホリデイ・イン エクスプレス リトルロック-エアポート by IHG, an IHG Hotel

敷地内の離れたところに同じ系列のホリデイ・エクスプレスとホリデイ・インがあり、現地人は「エクスプレス」と「イン」だけで区別している。日本で予約すると「イン・エクスプレス」となっているため、最初エクスプレスの方に行くと「インは、向こうの建物」と言われ、離れているため、わざわざ車で移動。ところが、彼らの言う「イン」の方に行くと「予約は入っていないが、あちらの建物には予約されている」と言われて再度移動。大変紛らわしかった。よかったのは、ロビーのインテリアと、朝食会場の広さ、車で5分ほどかかるリトルロック空港までのシャトルをすぐ出してくれるところ。困ったのは、部屋の中の設備の古さ。ヒーターを一度入れたら、オフにしても一晩じゅうつきっぱなしで空気は乾燥した。かと思うと翌朝はいていたソックスがびっしょり濡れていて疑問に思ったところ、テレビ周辺の絨毯が広範囲で湿っていた。当然、私は液体をこぼしていないし、バスルームの近くでもない。

Great for nights before or after flights

I did NOT like the fact that they require $50.00 deposit for incidentals and they DO NOT give it back, I am still waiting for my reimbursement…

Everything was excellent except the noise from the interstate. But once I fell asleep, it never bothered me at all!

This place looks like it has seen better days. The room was fine. It was clean and well put together. The pool was nasty. The fitness room was closed. It appears there was amenities at one time that no longer exist. The breakfast was good enough. The lady who managed the breakfast was very helpful and polite. There is a place in the main hotel up the hill to get drinks and food. Overall it was a good room to stay in for the price

Didn’t like the service about cleaning the rooms

The room I was in had a hint of cigarette smell, and it's also possible there was at one point German roaches, because I could smell them. Them. However, it is also possible that what I smelled was German roach bait. I used to work for orkin, so I recognize the smell. It would be prudent for staff to check room 167.

The room was clean, and the AC worked. The staff was friendly. The breakfast lady was very strict about breakfast not opening till 6:30 although everything was set up. The drain in the bathtub was very slow to drain so you ended up standing in ankle deep water.

Property manager was very nice. The breakfast bar was great and Vanessa is so sweet and helpful. Beds were comfortable and clean. Indoor pool was nice but water was cold but when we mentioned it to the manager he immediately went to try and adjust it.

AC didn’t work in our room. Front desk lady was soooo not helpful on anything.

We had issues with check in, being told we didn't have a reservation. Then said our card had fail multiple times in the previous days as payment. Not true as nothing was wrong with the card. Finally checked us in saying they found what had happened and that wasn't our card. Got our room key and left for festival, upon returning to hotel my son opened our room to find a man half asleep in bed. We were then given another room which was comfortable but had a tile falling off at bathtub that looked like black mold behind it. Saturday we got up asked for no maid service except towels so we could shower after a music festival in 90°+ temps. Upon returning from festival we had no towels, we were told they didn't have towels it would be 8 am to get towels. Went down for towels at 8 am still no towels and was told it would be an hour. Decided to call Holiday Inn directly to get resolution for problems at property was given a claim number and customer service rep called hotel against my wishes ( i asked her to wait until we showered and were checking out) upon returning to lobby i was yelled at by owner/manager (whatever his position) because he was angry we reported the ridiculous service received here. He told we couldn't evshower we were to leave immediately or he was calling the police. He said he would refund our stay and when leaving and asked for the receipt showing reimbursement he refused and said he wasn't refunding anything. Said they did nothing wrong.

Property was very clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Excellent value. Property right off interstate highway so no real scenery and parking beside room a little cramped however area was clean with very quick access to airport which was important to us

Clean room. Quiet.

The guy at the front desk is friendly and tries to fix the problem. However, our first room smelled like body odor, mildew, and mold. Then we get switched to another room and absolutely none of the outlets work whatsoever. We even looked for a switch that might control the outlets. Also, the website states that the pool is open when it is unfortunately closed.

Close to airport

Very comfortable bed and pillows.Great breakfast. It was hard to get a good sleep because other patrons would slam their doors. Not the fault of the hotel though.

Staff was friendly but did not give me some important information, causing me a good deal of stress, and also had a very heavy accent causing our communication extremely frustrating.

The building was poorly maintained and the shuttle from the airport was expensive. The pool was very dirty and the parking lot in disrepair. There were clearly short staffing issues. It is a budget hotel, and ultimately there was what we needed: a clean bed, a working shower, and a parking spot for our rental car. In addition, the location made it very easy to go to and from town (I recommend back roads instead of the highway). In addition, there is a Waffle House across the street. The service was great, and for the price was great for the quality of food.
