We live in Dallas and dropped off our youngest child at A&M for college. Instead of going straight home, we did a staycation at The Drover to decompress before adjusting to our new “empty nest” life. Has been on our bucket list to visit and it didn’t disappoint. Everything exceeded our expectations. Staff (front desk, pool, and concierge) was friendly, amenities were amazing, and the level of detail throughout was impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner (97 West) on property as well. Steps away from Stockyards was the cherry on top. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotels fancy but rooms are teeny tiny. No space- especially for that $$$. Pool is tiny and over crowded. Valet parking is $$$. It’s a really nice hotel don’t get me wrong but they should focus less on being fancy and more on guest comfort. The rooms were just ridiculous tiny.

Beautiful and worth the stay for your visit to Ft Worth! You don’t even have to leave the grounds if you don’t want to do, as they are stunning and offer a resort feel.

The hotel is a really cool “faux” cowboy affair. The staff by the pool are great and it’s sensible pricing (food + drinks). The pool area is small for the number of rooms, and if you turn up after 10 AM, you will struggle to get a bed on that weekend. I suspect that could lead to a lot of frustration for some guests. One piece of feedback… Check out is 12 PM. Considering the heat if people are heading to the airport later and want to explore the stockyards… There is nowhere to have a shower outside of your room. Considering the climate, I think this is a pretty major oversight for a hotel at this price point.

Very OVERPRICED for small, small room, cramped with furniture I have in my own home. (Born & Raised Texan). This was supposed to be a very special Birthday surprise and I wrote in advance asking for Specific Things. (I guess their overpriced snacks & mini-bar was supposed to cover it.) The only good thing was the location because things were walking distance. However, after paying $50/night w/taxes to park your car, I don’t think walking would have been so bad. Won’t return and do not recommend.
