What a delight! If you like old hotels with charm this is fun. Rooms are huge. If you are into modern sterile hotels this isn’t the one for you. I stayed with my elderly mom for a few days of site seeing and it was absolutely charming. Staff were superb!

フリーWi-Fiに関し、部屋から電話してフロントに聞いたところ、キーチェッカーの裏に記されているとの事。何の事か分からないので、妻がフロントに行き確認したら、その場でカギ袋の裏にシールを貼った。つまり、フロントが忘れていたという事。妻が、私の分も番号をもらおうとしたら、英語が不自由な妻に分からせる努力をせず、追い払った。妻は激怒。友達やネットで拡散すると思う。言葉の問題は双方イーブンとしても、最初にシールを貼らなかったフロントが悪い。ミスの指摘と妻への侮辱を私がフロントまで出向き行い、上司らしき女性は、謝ったが、本人は謝らなかった。

I handed in my laundry, but even after three days, it hadn’t come back. Despite repeatedly asking the front desk to look into the matter, they were unable to locate it. It was only at check-out that we discovered it had been delivered to a different hotel. In the end, the laundry was safely returned to me, but I wish appropriate action had been taken sooner.

This is an old but quite quirky hotel that revels in its attempt to stay in a time gone by. That creates a bit of a period atmosphere but at the same time the hotel feels dated and rather dark and small. The rooms are adequately large and comfortable but unless you have a room with a view to front, expect to always be in a state of semi darkness. The doorman and restaurant staff are superb with the friendliness and welcoming attitude. Conversely, the two men I came across on reception were helpful but rather cold in their attitude. The hotel is well situated for accessing all the tourist sights and a Metro station is a simple 10 minute walk away.

This is an old but quite quirky hotel that revels in its attempt to stay in a time gone by. That creates a bit of a period atmosphere but at the same time the hotel feels dated and rather dark and small. The rooms are adequately large and comfortable but unless you have a room with a view to front, expect to always be in a state of semi darkness.
