Beautiful stay on the Oregon coast

This was my second time staying here. It’s a clean place. Feels safe. Great view from balcony. Walking distance from the Devil’s Punch Bowl State Park and the stores and restaurants at the viewpoint.

What a gem! Feels like you’re on a private island. Yet walkable to Devils Punch Bowl, MO’s and a sweet Coffe Shop. Restaurant was exceptional. The owner and Manager were wonderful. The room was charming with unstoppable views. Clean and comfortable and very peaceful. We will be back.

My husband and I both got food poisoning from dinner at the Spyglass restaurant which turned a lovely afternoon into a disaster. We spent the rest of stay sick in our room without a functioning TV. No one answered calls to the desk. Had to drag our bags uphill since built on cliff to check out. Miserable experience.

We absolutely loved the property grounds and access to the beach area. The staff were very nice and helpful!

Beautiful location in a luxury complex. Unfortunately, the buildings have no insulation therefore guests are subject to all noises (footsteps, conversation, toilet flushing etc) from neighbours on either side and or above.

The property and room were beautiful. It is a beautiful area. I cannot state just how beautiful this are is. We had a few issues with the room. There was visible mold in the bathroom ceiling. We also had silverfish take up residence in our damp washclothes. We didn't realize it, until I rubbed it over my belly and felt a stinging sensation. The walls are also super thin. We could hear our neighbors conversations almost word for word. Not the best of experiences. :(

A beautiful property and grounds and you look right out onto the ocean. An added bonus was that it is in walking distance to the Devils Punchbowl.

The scenery was beautiful.

Outstanding off the beaten path resort. Restaurant was outstanding. Yes, you have to walk from your car but the resort transport takes you there. View and the grounds are super relaxing.

Hard for my husband to get around

We loved our stay at the Inn at Otter Crest. The view is wonderful and we saw 3 whales from our deck. Staff is great. Low tide is so cool with the tide pools that form right in front of the Inn. Will stay here again!

Loved our stay at Otter Crest, our room had an ocean view and we saw whales from the balcony! Spacious room and bathroom, full kitchen (huge fridge/freezer), bed was really comfy and we slept well. Nice outside pool (heated, very warm) and jacuzzi very quiet when we went. Ate in the restaurant one night, bit pricey (ridiculous for a glass of wine) but tasty. Great location to tour up and down highway 101, and we could walk to the Devil's Punchbowl via the beach at lowtide.

Property was great. Room smelled a little musty, but once the slider was opened and the ocean air came in it was great. We seemed to be in adjoining rooms or next to rather. No big deal until i heard water running and a tv playing the next morning. Just left me feeling with little privacy. Especially since it was a big deal to not have cars/pollution near the rooms. Pool and hot tub were great. View was what we paid for. Didn’t realize until after booking about the walking. Didn’t seem like a big deal but it was uphill and my bf is an amputee. It wasn’t the distance but the incline. We had a great time but the distance to and from the room to the car was a bit of an issue. We got a bell hop/ride to the room and when we checked out. Didn’t think to ask for a ride just to the parking lot perhaps that was possible. Overall happy, maybe a little more privacy and transparency about the distance/incline walk to parking lot.

Individual units are privately owned and rates are based on SF and views. We had a view of the ocean over a building’s rooftop below. Grounds are beautiful and secluded. Be prepared to get your steps in unless you request a “golf cart ride”!

First time stay at this property. The room we reserved was very comfortable and extremely clean. It was great to have a room that did not have stairs for entrance. The view was amazing and the decor fit the experience. Room 354 with a kitchenette was a plus. The grounds are lush and beautiful and laundry room was provided. Gym on property needs an update but overall for just a relaxing stay it was great! Around the corner from property there is a MO’s seafood for food and coffee dessert shop,

The property was very nice and the view from the room exceptional. we wanted to go to the sauna and hot tub but we did not because of the very lengthy walk required we felt would not be worth it in the cool outside air while wet in a swimsuit.

Nothing worked. TV. Internet were both down and not reestablished.

Beautiful location. Grounds of the hotel were well kept. Had a nice pool and hot tub. The hotel is located in a hilly location so when walking around you will be going up and down hills and steps. Saw many whales right from our ocean view balcony.

The views!!! We watched whales from our balcony and it was a short stroll to the beach. Devil's Punchbowl is basically on the property! Rooms were clean and appropriately stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
