Alexus was awesome

Great staff and great location to a cute shopping center with some great options for restaurants. No views of anything (at least from my room on the 8th floor overlooking the parking lot). It was convenient but nothing spectacular. Very comfortable bed and clean room. I will stay there again but wouldn’t necessarily if it weren’t for proximity to my work site.

The rooms can use updating but the staff were extremely nice and accommodating and the customer service was exceptional. The food at the Betty is great and the rooftop is nice.

Great place to stay

You have to pay $50 a night for parking!! They don’t tell you this before you check in!!

I stayed at the Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Atlanta and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. After returning late from a concert, I was told my room had been closed out without my knowledge — even though I never checked out. On top of that, extremely loud music continued throughout the night until 5 AM, making it impossible to get any rest. I spent a significant amount of money expecting a comfortable stay, and these issues completely disrupted my visit. I have contacted management for resolution but want to share this experience so future guests are aware.

$70 parking fee was not needed since they offer valet parking for much cheaper

The location of the hotel was fine. The room furnishing and size were nice. However, there were wine stains on the carpet and the ac was not on in the room when we arrived. The hotel must have been an old office building that was renovated into a hotel. The original windows were still there and were not replaced. The bathrooms were clean and updated. The staff were all friendly. The hotel needs a refresh on the lobby floors and elevator floors are in bad shape. Surprised that Kimpton would let the maintenance upkeep get in that kind of condition.

The staff was awesome, especially at the front desk. Super friendly and easy to talk to. I had an A/C problem the first night, and they moved me immediately without me even asking, and even went up to the new room to make sure the A/C and everything else was acceptable before giving me the key. Breakfast was great, and the bartenders at St Julep were easy to talk to and kept my glass full...what more can you ask for.

Unexpected stay in Atlanta after a flight home got cancelled. Decided to stay in Buckhead for the night. This hotel was a short walk to Buckhead Village where we planned to have dinner. Older property but updated and well maintained. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Did not utilize amenities but seemed decent. Nice garden connected to restaurant.

Kimpton Sylvan was a nice & quiet 2 night stay. Guest relations staff was very warm, friendly, & helpful - all of them! I enjoyed the amenities around the hotel esp, the arboretum, pool side, fitness ctr, and all the spaces to sit throughout. The rooms were spacious and clean. Initially, the sink was stopped up in my room, but the staff made quick efforts & fixed it. I will definitely stay again.

Our stay was absolutely excellent! From greeting us with a glass of wine upon check-in, to setting us up in a lovely room with our dog, we were incredibly impressed. We will definitely be back!

Convenient

My fiancé and I have come here over the past couple of years. We love this hotel and the amenities they have to offer. The rooftop bar and the comfort of our room are our favorites. Always clean and quiet.

Loved the hotel, loved the location, and amenities

Very friendly and welcoming staff! Great to have a dog friendly hotel option for our senior pup. Only thing that would have been nice would be some green space for him to go potty. Great location in the middle of Buckhead with shops and restaurants!
