Room for improvement

When I arrived the electricity was shut off due to storm there was no backup generator in place so I was not able to unpack or shower due to long drive . I had to leave again mind you I been traveling for 8 hours .

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The remodeling looks good. The rolling shower doors will need to bwe adjusted so the doors remain closed during taking a shower. that is a simple adjustment of the slope at the rollers. We would have used the pool accept thunder storms rolled in at the timeso we chose not to swim.

Both bathroom and room doors hard to open. Dogs barking and slamming doors all night long. Beds were kinda bit to much noise. Air conditioning to loud.

Kind staff

Jesus on the front desk was kind and helpful.

Property was under renovation. Guests should have been advised. Staff was very attentive, helpful and friendly. Breakfast hours should be extended to at least 9:30an.

Do not stay here. It is very dirty. Trash was not picked up daily in the halls. The trash was overflowing. There were people stayimg there that were yelling at one another. I felt unsafe and checked out early.

Our original room had a door key issue, but the staff at reception immediately moved us to a better room and personally confirmed the working key slider. Breakfast was OK, but fruit and yogurt only came out on the weekend; not weekdays. The 24/7 coffee was a great perk. The pool was clean and accessible. The area was very safe.

The property was very nice. Check in was easy. Large gap in the door to the hallway let in a lot of noise from kids running up and down the hall and the bathroom door had to be slammed to shut it. But it was a good place to stay for a night.

Clean except for the giant black mold spot of the ceiling above the shower from water damage. Light leaks into the room from the door. Room was large. Ac unit was keep you awake noisy. Bed was nothing to write home about. Back door that was supposed to be locked 24/7 was not. Super bad policy on brining pets. In pre check in you will make the request which will be denied. But it is not true. They says s It’s so you not be double charged. This gave me a heart attack thinking I had to find another place after reserving this one.

The whole facility is undergoing renovations. So, noisy and dirty. Staff and breakfast were good things about the hotel.

Room was clean, comfort

The room next door was playing music which wasn’t bad, but then they started smoking pot. I texted the front desk and they immediately took care of the situation.

The person in the adjoining room turned on the TV rather loudly and woke me up at about 2:00 am and 5:00 am the first night. The next morning, I asked the front desk employee if she could ask the person to turn down the volume the second night. It was a little better, but I was still awakened during the night.

Although the property has a good location the rooms are severly in need of rennovation. Our first room had several broken features: a couple of the base boards were laying on the ground. The toilet seat was broken. There were several "fixes" that were not done well, screws sticking out over 1/4 inch to hold a strip of wood next to the bathtub, silicone oozing out of the sink etc. The bathtub was not clean and had hair in it from previous occupants. The next room we were moved to was a handicap room, the toilet was not securely bolted to the floor and would wobble if you sat on it, the handicap handles in the shower did not seem secure and had pieces falling off of them and the shower leaked from the shower connection. We also killed several bugs in the room.

Hotel was in terrible condition. Dirty, smelly, water tasted bad. Grounds are in need of maintenance.

The room was fine. The lobby had no air conditioning or if it did you couldn’t tell the breakfast was average at best.
