Older hotel. Very worn inside and out

BED BUGS. We found bed bugs in the morning. I had checked the mattresses when we checked in, so thankfully they weren’t in the beds, but they were definitely on the floor. My dog found two spots in the room where previous dogs had peed. The night clerk insisted I had to pay a cash deposit instead of putting a hold on my credit card, claiming that way I’ll “get my deposit back immediately at checkout”. That doesn’t make any sense. What’s the point of a cash deposit for “damage and incidentals” if you have no idea the state of my room until after I check out? Makes me think they do this so people forget to grab their cash on the way out and then they pocket it. I insisted on using my credit card and he “made an exception” for me. Oh thank you, considering that’s literally listed in the description that you can use a credit card. Please train your front desk employees that using a credit card for incidentals is within your policy.

Overall we were pleased with our stay. We found the stadf to be friendly and helpful. The facilities were oder and somewhat worn in areas. Safe neughbkrhood close to lots of shopping.

Decent stay for the price

We stopped here on the way acrosss county moving my dad closer to me. No issues with rooms or amenities. The pool & spa were super chemically, the smell made it unenjoyable. But the pool was not freezing. Hot tub had bubbles, but around the corner so you couldnt tuen them on while in the spa. They have a little store downstairs where we bought ice cream that night. Breakfast was great & the dining room was busy, so I'm pretty sure that was agreed upon by everyone! Applebees was basically right next door, but it was awful. 1/10 do not recommend. But the hotel was decent & a great sleep on our trip. We had 2 rooms. No issues. Friendly staff.

Check-in and check-out staff were friendly and efficient. Room was comfortable and I appreciated that the fridge had a freezer. Room/bathroom was pretty clean. Used the fitness room and couldn't get the treadmill to work (but that might have been me) but the other equipment worked fine. It's set back from the main streets so is quiet but has access to a lot. Good value.

Lobby was beautiful, breakfast was great, room was comfortable and clean, would definitely stay again if we were in town!

Staff was truly wonderful. Pool and hot tub had an offputting green tint. But lots of kids will do that- Internet went down during check in but the staff member was very helpful & friendly. All the staff were very lovely. Beds are very comfy. Room very clean. My toilet chain kept falling off but I just fixed it rather than calling in maintenance. Dove products in the room were nice. Road to the parking lot has major pot holes as you enter. And the breakfast was very subpar. As I have a dairy allergy, there were no real options for me other than a banana and eggs so I just opted to grab something at one of the many local places. Love that they allow pets and yet keep it very clean. Overall, for the price, it's a great deal.

After a long day of travel, it felt good to be greeted with friendliness and checked in quickly. There were restaurants within walking distance and a perfect hot tub to finish off the evening.
