Natchez Grand Hotel & Suites On the River

The room was large, clean and comfortable, including a sofa. However, the view of the sunset on the Mississippi River, visible from my room, was the highlight for me. Also, breakfast was good.

We were considering 3 different riverfront hotels, and we are SO glad we chose this one! The location is fantastic - amazing views of the river, easy to park and walk to places to eat and shop! Every staff member could not have been nicer! Loved Bryan the Barkeep too! We plan to come back to Natchez and will stay here again!

Pool horrible. This is summer and very hot in Natchez. Pool looked like it hasn’t been used in years. It looks absolutely nasty.

Our room overlooking the pool was just awful. Pool wasn’t usable at all it looked like it hadn’t been used in years. It is the middle of hot summer this is terrible. Not enough staff for a full house with conferences booked. Check in for some people was after 4 and that was inconvenient to say the least.

The property was great! A lot of surrounding history. Great river view. I would have given five stars across the board if it was not for the water-filled shower gel dispenser and the ‘in need of major overhaul’ fitness room.

The shower fixture needs repairing. Dresser drawer wouldn’t stay closed.

Very good location, TVs in room were outdated and didn’t work well. Beautiful view of Mississippi River from 4th floor hotel room.

We reserved a king suite with a view of the Miss. River for our weekend in Natchez, but when we arrived we were told they had sold out of those and they were putting us in a standard room with 2 queens, with a view of the parking lot. When we showed our reservation the clerk just said sorry! No offer for a refund for the difference for the lesser quality room! We reserved a suite so we’d have someplace comfortable to sit, rather than just on the bed. The room they gave us had 1 straight-back chair and 1 broken desk chair. Unfortunately we also discovered that this hotel is no longer “grand”- plaster peeling and mold in the bathroom, a/c as loud as a jet engine that turned on and off all night. The location is great and the breakfast was very good. The bartender and the breakfast staff were wonderful, but that doesn’t make up for this being a “tired” old hotel that needs some upgrading. We are returning to Natchez in the Fall- reserving 4 rooms for our family- and it will NOT be at the Natchez Grand Hotel!!

Beautiful view, friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds.

Wonderful stay every time. Nice staff, very clean and comfortable beds and good AC. Ask for a river view as it’s amazing. Good breakfast. Nice area to walk along the river path and many people do. Felt very safe and pig out inn a short walkable distance was excellent. Beautiful historic homes walkable distance and price is very reasonable. Needs microwave in room but has fridge. Rarely give such a good rating but they deserve it.

Old south atmosphere right on the river!

I paid for a room overlooking the river with a king size bed, i got a room over looking the parking lot with 2 queen beds, no other room available. The coffee pot in the room was not working so no coffe until 7am. I was pretty disappointed with my stay and definitely will not choose this hotel in the future.

When we got in our room the floor to the shower and toilet had mold in it. A cleaning lady was sent up with bleach to clean. Then we went out to dinner and our A/C was frozen up. We have to be moved to another room. We could not get the TV to work and the maintenance man had to come get it to work. In that shower the head spread water all over the bathroom. The place really needs some maintenance done to it. I never was able to get the internet to work.

Nice hotel but needs a thorough cleaning. Great location. Walkable. Riverfront. Lots of dining options

I reserved the river view room for a business trip as I have done in the past. When I got here I was told I was moved due to an American Legion convention. Not pleased at all.

Very nice hotel. We had a deluxe king and it was so spacious and comfortable. Will stay there again!

Nice hotel and location. Carpet in guest room needed cleaning

I made a reservation a month ago and when I went to check in they told me that they had canceled the reservation the morning of check in because my credit card was declined. I called my credit card company and they told me that there had been no declined or pending purchases that day. Natchez Grand did call me that morning but did not leave a message. I don't answer numbers I don't know. Then they tell me they are all booked up and do not have a room for me. I had to turn around and head back home. Weekend ruined. Would like to know the real story, the whole thing sounded sketchy to me. Makes me sad, that's my go to hotel when in Natchez and can't risk something odd like that happening again, won't be back Air B&B next time!

Beautiful location, convenient to restaurants and the river walk. Loved our stay at the Grand!
