I paid for mybstay through Hotels.com ahead of time. I did the online checkin suggested by Ramada though email. Upon my arrival I still had to do the entire checkin process and i was charged twice, $100, and $103 (after already paying $120 through hitels.com) and they have yet to be reversed as promised. When i went to my room they assigned me, it was locked from the inside deadbolt. So i was assigned a new room, in which upon arrival and sitting in the bathroom, found out it didnt have any toilet paper. People were friendly and room was cozy. But not the best experience.

The owners seem to be pretty cheap when it comes to repairs.

The picture of the hotel on hotels.com was not this Ramada. This Ramada in Anchorage looked lousy on the outside, and my room (103) wasnt any better. cracked paint, broken dresser, batteries in the remote control was held on with tape. No towels in the bathroom. Ive stayed in Ramadas before, and i cant believe this hotel gets to have that name. The only reason i gave it 2 stars was because the bed was very comfortable

Oh, where to start. So this is a old hotel in a not so great part of town. Outside the window to our room was a large homeless camp on railroad property, they were fans of deep bass music until 3AM. The room looked fairly clean, however, there was no toilet paper or facial tissue in the room. There was a sign in the room that said call the front desk if you need anything. That would have been great if there had been a phone in the room. The continental breakfast consisted of an apple juice, a hard boiled egg, a PB&J uncrustable, and a dinner roll with 1/3 of a slice of bacon and a little cheese on it in a brown paper bag. When I told the person at the front desk about the toilet paper, lack of phone, etc. he seemed genuinely mortified. A few days later there was a refund on my credit card for the full amount of the room. I did not ask for the refund, they just gave it to me. The hotel was being remodeled and it really seemed like they were trying. Perhaps in a year or so they will solve there homeless problem and get the hotel in shape.

The room was nice and clean, but that’s all that was good about this hotel. There was a homeless camp outside and the occupants of the camp would wonder around the parking lot and lobby.they would yell and scream all night, making it difficult to sleep. There was trash and empty cases of beer in the hallways piled up outside multiple rooms. You could here everything from other rooms and some rooms the occupants we’re partying all night and being extremely loud, making sleeping difficult.

The front desk girl was the one who went to pick me up at the airport, thanks for that. But my room looks like dirty, floor so dusty, Pillows smells like if someone was there but no clean after. And the toilet constantly was flushing water so much noise Microwave so dirty too. I try to make my coffee warm and I found it so dirty. General ok.. only this detals Thank you.

Tv and phone didn’t work, booked but didn’t get a room with a jetted tub and when I went to the front desk after seeing the room was just told there was nothing they could do. It was late so I was stuck! No sleep due to the people on either side of my room screaming or picking all night!

The Breakfast was the worst thing about this stay.

Dirty and sticky floors.

Their airport shuttle was non existent it cost me $40.00 for a cab. It's nothing like it's described, there are homeless camps within 30 feet of the building. There was a portable heater in the room that didn't work, the Continental breakfast was a brown paper bag with 2 hard boiled eggs, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a small apple juice. There were no vending machines, the safe was on a dresser cabinet and was not secured , it was lose. I've never been more disappointed or felt more uncomfortable. I'll never go there again.

Stayed for 7 days...requested housecleaning on 2 of those days,but no response. 24 hr security doors, but staff let several non guests in without key. Will not be using this lodging again.

the tv did not work despite having 3 remotes. The place is ghetto all the way.

The young man at the front desk, did not listen to me when I was explaining I was using 2 cards to pay with 1 for the deposit and the other for the payment. He ended up charging me the full amount on one card and another room charge on the other, all while telling me not to worry. It ended up being refunded but its the 3 days of having to wait I was avoiding as my funds were running low. He doesn't have to worry or have to wait I do. Lastly, I understand that the homeless people need to have a place to go & its an issue everywhere. However, there is a tent encampment outside my room window and thats where they shouldn't be while drinking & using drugs and being loud outside my window with cars pulling up & then leaving. I was uncomfortable and wouldn't recommend any room on the first floor facing the back it was a constancy. I pay good money to stay at hotels that are clean safe & quiet.

I’m unsure what happened between my stay and some of the recent Expedia reviews but the hotel was not clean and the homeless camp Outside made the stay incredibly unpleasant. My room was dirty, the bedside lamp did not work and the shuttle drive took her sweet time picking me up and I had to chase her down at the airport. Nothing about my experience was pleasant I hope Ramada is able to up their standards for this location
